Hi Adele,
I hope the kids are getting the back to school glitches ironed out. I have a feeling that kids will not be learning as much this year as they would in a normal year-but something is better than nothing and they are all in the same boat. It’s hard to believe that such a tiny little thing that we cannot even see can have had such a massive impact on the whole world.
It’s weird that middle school and junior high are the same thing just depending on which area of the country that you live in.
There are a lot of singers in the finals of AGT this year. I hope the spoken word guy wins-he is mine and Howie’s favorite. lol I also like the little man that flys in the air. Did you ever notice that on the ground he is bowlegged and when he flies his legs are straight and toes are pointed. I like the Bello sisters too but I doubt they will win.
You know you can go to amazon and get a plug in thing that will convert that pumpkin to a timer. I would check it out. I’m almost sure that I have gotten something like that from Amazon before.
I had two fiber optic pumpkins that I always just loved. A couple years ago I gave one to Jenny so she and the kids can enjoy one in their house also. It’s still one of my favorite decorations after a lot of years. Plus I got them for a bargain price as they were from a Hallmark store that was going out of business. Love a good bargain!
We went over to Jenny’s Saturday. it was a beautiful sunny day and we all sat outside on the patio while the kids played in the yard on the trampoline. We also picked up lunch for all of us from the taco truck. So we were there for about two hours. My soul just needed that! Until then we had only seen Jenny and the kids for ten minutes at a time now and then since March. It was nice to actually be able to have a conversation with everyone again. Unfortunately we won’t be able to do stuff like that much longer as winter is coming.
I pray every day that next summer I will be able to see and hug my kids and grandkids. That’s really all I want.
Thank goodness Greg and I have each other.
