On behalf of Tim Bice, Angel Smedley, the entire Quacker Factory team – and myself – we wanted to send you a BIG Thank-You for tuning in last week for our special day of shows!!!
We Be-Dazzled you with our DreamJeanne ‘Today’s Special Value’ throughout the day – and then we Be-Witched you that evening, during our annual Fall-O-Ween show – and what fun we had!! So, thank you, thank you, thank you for Quacking along with us – we couldn’t have done it without you!!!
Throughout the day, one of our Quack-Tabulous teammates, John Mason, followed Angel and me around the studios to take some fun pictures so that we could share with you some exclusive behind-the-scenes photos. I think you’ll agree with me that John did a great job. (When John was growing up down the road from Jeanne in Wisconsin, he used to cut her grass – so you just know that Jeanne trained him better than anyone else to do great work!)
When you get to the end of this blog, there’s a link that you can click on to see ALL of the fun photos – but I thought I would share some of my personal favorites with you.
It all started at midnight when Angel kicked off the TSV with our wonderful and Quacky Jacque Gonzalez. Here’s a picture of Angel and me right before midnight – I think you can tell that we were VERY excited about showing you the latest and greatest DreamJeanne that our design team had created especially for each of you!
Did you know that just about 10 minutes before Angel and I go out on the set, the incredible QVC Talent Services Team put a microphone and earpiece on us so that the Director and Producer can speak to us during the show? John caught me getting all set up before my 3am show. (Can you tell how excited I was?!?!)
And can I just say that our beautiful Quack-Ette models were looking particularly gorgeous at 3 in the morning! Here I am with them just before the cameras started rolling.
After a few hours of rest – (and a lot of coffee!) – Angel & I were ready continue the party – and we had some great advice for all of you! It was all about #LoveThySelfie!
And to set the tone, Angel and I snapped a fun selfie with our good friend Pat James-Dementri!
The minute I saw that silly expression on my face, I decided it was time to give the camera back to John – and good thing I did, because he got this great picture of Angel doing her world famous DreamJeanne Quacker Karate Kick!!
What a Quack-Tastic day it was – but what Angel and I were really looking forward to was for the Fall-O-Ween show! We know that Jeanne LOVED presenting the Fall-O-Ween show every year – so we wanted to ensure that the one this year would make Jeanne proud.I can’t thank you all enough for joining me on-line and chatting with me for the two hours.
I loved all of the pictures you posted – but I don’t think I’m EVER going to forget Dusty the cat – who was dressed up by his owners as the Pope!!! Just look at that expression!!
And how lucky were all of us that we had Jane Treacy as our Ghostess-With-The- Mostess?!? Here are Angel and I with her:
