Hi Gail
Tillie did have to sign papers. I am not sure about now, though. I have the same issue going on over here. Neither JJ , nor Aizen have been baptized. I did the emergency one for JJ, when nobody was looking. I need to do it to Aizen too, accept now it is harder, because I just cannot gab him, and take him to the sink for the water. I also feel very uneasy about their not being baptized. I hope when they grow up, they will choose a religion themselves. Religion is so important. Not necessarily going to Church, but, following the beliefs, and praying.
That was an awful thing the priest did to your Piper. I also do not think Jesus would be happy about denying a child a baptism. What is wrong with him? I bet the Pope would not be happy about that, either.
I never heard of the oplatki. But the German’s use that to put cookies on and bake them- they call them o’blatten- not sure of the spelling. I tried to find some for the meringue cookies I make, and nobody had them. Could not find them on-line, because I think I am spelling it wrong. I am going to google your spelling, and see if it is the same.
Gary cannot even see the nose on his face. God bless him. He said he noticed I had gloss on my lips, once I made an issue out of it. I may as well give it up…..LOL
It was fun seeing our old friends. We did not go to an interesting place- only to the 99. Your venue sounded a lot more interesting, and decorative. I did get comments form the waitress, who loved my sparkly outfit. I was the only person in the entire restaurant in Christmas attire. What is up with that??????
I am attaching 2 pics I just took with my old phone of the last remaining 2 Christmas houses I made in ceramics. Also have a white tree, with green bulbs- did not take that one out, as I ran out of room. Plus, where I usually keep that one, is too accessible for a 2 year old. I got a tiny tree for that spot, that is more kid friendly for now. When he is older, the ceramic one will be resurrected.
Hope you are enjoying all your lights!. I know you have my garland……………. Can you believe it has not been located? I am hoping I can get 2 nice ones on sale in a week, for next year. Now, I will have to make all the bows again..
Forgot to say… so we are on the way home last night and Gary says, “Look, you cannot see if anyone’s tree is decorated or not- all you see is their lighted trees in the windows…..LOL
It is rainy here today! Took Heather to my back doctor this morning at 7:30. We had to go to a satellite office for her appointment as there was nothing left before the holidays for an appointment. She has a curve in the bottom of her back, and hip dysplasia. When she took in her groceries last week, she really hurt it, and it was killing her, all down one leg. they gave her prednisone to get the swelling down, and she has another apt in 3 weeks to see about an MRI, and possible shot. When she was little, she had one leg a lot shorter than the other, which caused scoliosis. She had surgery to lengthen the shorter side. They broke her hip in half, and took bone from the top of the hip, and grafted it into the hip, until it all “gelled together”, thus making that leg longer to match with her other leg. That is coming back to haunt us. Steph also had a shorter leg, but, we opted for the knee surgery, which slowed down the growth of the longer leg, so the other could catch up- a much simpler surgery and recovery. Heather was on crutches for 3 months.
