Hi Ladies,
I started this last night, then it disappeared, so I gave up & went to bed.
First of all, Adele, I knew what you meant. I could clearly see it was a typo. I’m not offended by a typo. I probably make
a lot of mistakes myself. No worries.
I don’t know if you heard, but we had a doozy of a storm yesterday (Wed.) & last night. The coast was battered with high
winds (hurricane force), and rain. The National Weather Service (NWS) put out high wind warnings the night before for the
coast & inland valleys. According to todays news wind gusts got up to 100 mph along the coast. Trees downed, power outages,
and a lot of damage from the winds. I heard the wind part of the night. Today was a lot better. Sun came out for awhile.
But we’re in for more storms. They showed the line of storms clear out to Hawaii. We call these Pineapple Express, & I’m not
talking the fruit. At least they’re broken up. Back in 96 we had a series of these storms come thru & we had some of the worst
flooding on record. It was awful.
I was naughty & ordered some QF. I tried for one of the tops, but they were all out my size or sold out altogether. sigh. I did order
a pair of royal blue straight leg DreamJeannes, & a gingham shirt from D &co. The only way I could do it was the 5 easy pays.
I can’t afford it otherwise.
I have another awful cold. A nurse practitioner came to my apt, thru my health insurance, & she thinks it’s a bad case of allergies.
So she called in some prescriptions for me. I couldn’t get anyone to go for me so I had to bundle up & go get em myself. It wasn’t
that cold & I needed the fresh air. lol. All that wind & rain cleared out the tree pollen.
Well, that’s all for tonight.
Take care.
