Hi Ladies,
Barbara, I’m soo sorry to hear about your puppy. I don’t know what I’d do if anything happened to my Jewell. I’ll be praying for her. And here I thought I was the only
one who had a hard time in grocery stores. They recently remodeled the local store here & like yours they put the dairy on one side & the fruits & veggies on the
other side. During the remodel we had a heck of a time finding things. About the only good thing I can say is I get my exercise going to the store.

OK, I wanna move in with whoever said they raise asparagus!!!! We can’t grow em here. Their season is sooooooo short. I used to get a crate of em & freeze em, but
I can’t afford to do that anymore. they’re almost $3-$4/ pound out here. they go on sale for Easter for under $3, sometimes $2/lb. May I ask a question for all of you?
Is that expensive out there? I’ve heard we pay a lot more out here for food, rent, gasoline, everything. Right now there’s a housing crisis here in Portland. Landlords
are giving little or no notice to renters, so they can raise the rent sky high. All they’re doing is putting more people out on the streets (homeless). And I’m not talking druggies,
etc. I’m talking young families with kids who work but can’t afford the rent or buy a house. It’s gonna put us into a depression!! Mark my word. It’s horrible. It’s on the news every
night. I’m glad I’m situated where I am. The construction is done now.

I’m sending a couple more pics I took of Mt. Hood, & Mt. Saint Helens. St. Helens is the one with the rounded top. I took the pics today since it was a gorgeous day!!! they’ll
be a bit blurry but that’s cuz I had to extend the lens out the window to get the pic. It wasn’t easy!!

Colleen, how did your tests come out? I hope they came out okay. I hope everything’s going well out there.
That’s all for now. Have a great day tomorrow.
