Hi Ladies,
How’s everyone today? I’ve been watching QF off & on all day. Wish I could get something, but I have to pay off all my easy pays before I can get any more. I GOTTA win the lottery, for more than one reason!!!LOL.
Thank you for the uplifting, & kind words of encouragement. It’s another dark & dreary days out here. The rain has returned, but they say we’ll be back to warmer days this weekend. It could be up to the 80s by Sunday, even warmer Mon. & Tues. I hope it gets warmer out there for you guys on the East coast.
If you who don’t know, I live in Oregon. If you look at a map of Oregon, you’ll see it’s divided by a mountain range, the Cascades. They actually divide both Washington, & Oregon from Canada to the Calif. border. The western third is lush valley, the eastern is high desert country. The elevation is 3-4,000 ft. up there. Down here, it’s closer to sea level. There’s another mt range between the coast & the valley, the Coast range. They’re not as high as the Cascades. Mt. Hood is like 10,000’+. I’m about a 90 minute drive from the Oregon coast. It’s soooooo gorgeous!! But it’s NOT like the Gulf!! It is not like a bathtub. It’s COLD!!! People come here thinking it’s warm, but it isn’t. Even in the hottest of summers, it doesn’t warm up all that much. Even the rivers don’t warm up that much. Every yr about this time of yr, there are drowning after drowning because they think the rivers are getting warm. With the snow runoff from the mts, they’re cold as ice till almost the fall. (How’d I get off on this.)?? Do you hear of a lot of drownings in your areas this time of yr? Not this yr, obviously.
I’m a Disney fanatic!!!! I have almost all of the animated movies on DVD. I can’t wait for “Finding Dori” to come out in June. Finding Nemo is one of my all time favorites. I’ve been to Disneyland, but never been to Disney World. Have any of you been to DW?
Oh, I heard on a talk show sometime ago, that the running vacuum cleaner would help put a crying baby to sleep, because it triggers something in the baby. It sounds like when the baby was inside the mother’s womb. A baby Dr was on a show & he was showing how to get a crying baby to sleep. That was one of the ways to do it. Also gently blowing into the baby’s ear helps. ????
Excuse me? Auto Kitty??? Never heard of that before. Is that his name? Send me a pic of him. I’m sending a couple pics of Jewell. She’s Persian/Himalayan. And Spoiled rotten.
I put some catnip in one of those plastic Easter eggs, & she bats it around on the bed till she knocks it to the floor. She stops short of following it. She stops at the edge of the bed looking for it. But, when I put it on the floor, she just sits & stares at it, like she expects it to do something. silly cat!!
Is it Kendall that has the stomach aches? Maybe she’s lactose intolerant?? I don’t know, just putting it out there. I hope they find out what’s wrong with her. For everyone’s sake.
I’ll be sending prayers they find out the problem.
I would love to experience Southern cooking. I’m not into a lot of spices, but I’ve heard how wonderful it is. Esp Southern fried chicken.
Well, I guess that’s all for now.
talk to ya soon.
