It’s the perfect time to make a refreshing dessert on a warm summer night. This Rhubarb cake recipe was one of Jeanne’s favorites! Given to her by her dear friend, Mary Wabiszewski, who had a home near Jeanne in Green Lake, WI for many years.
Directions:
Use 1 yellow cake mix- follow the directions on the box & pour into a 9″x13″ pan. (recommended– Duncan Hines)
put foil under the pans as it always runs over!!
Then layer pan top of the cake with:
3 cups diced rhubarb
1/2 pt. whipping cream (not whipped)
2 cups sugar
DO NOT MIX!!
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour & 10 mins.
SO SIMPLE AND YUMY-LICIOUS!
