      Mom’s Brown Sugar Rolls

      INGREDIENTS:

        1 cup brown sugar
        Softened Butter
        Cinnamon
Chopped nuts—optional- but I used walnuts

      INSTRUCTIONS:

1 Preheat the oven to 3.75 degrees

2 Use an 8 or 9” round cake pan—place a layer of brown sugar in bottom of the pan, set aside.

3 Roll out the pie crusts.  Spread a thin layer of softened butter on each crust.  Then spread a thin layer of brown sugar.  Add a sprinkle of cinnamon & the chopped nuts.

4 Roll up the pie crust, and slice into 2” rounds.  Place in the prepared pan.

5 Bake for about 30 minutes until the brown sugar is bubbly.  Let cool slightly then turn out onto a plate for serving.  BE CAREFUL- the melted sugar will burn if too hot!

      Enjoy!

How many pie crusts do you use?

What kind of pie crust? How many? Do you use the kind that is already in a round tinfoil pan when you buy it?
