You are correct. As we age it becomes very difficult to provide for our aging parents. It’s nerve wracking, to say the least. Tillie sounds like she is giving up. She keeps saying she is tired and I keep saying not to give up
It’s very gloomy here today snd will start raining shortly. At least it’s too warm to snow

Steph was at the case conference yesterday with Tillie. She FaceTimed me after it was done so I could see Tillies face
That’s great news that Brent and his girlfriend are coming at end of month. You will love him being around!! And you will miss him when he’s gone again!
It’s freezing up here. It will get warmer tomorrow. It’s been cold and warm on and off. I swear we will all get sick
Thanks for the compliment on the meatloaf. I just had an idea with the mozzarella and did it. I think next time I will break it into smaller pieces because as soon as you cut the meatloaf, the cheese got cold and harder. But it was still very good

Hi Colleen!
The news is as not as good as I thought about Tillie. Apparently she walked in the walker with two PT people on either side of her, directing her to walk. They feel she needs a lot of help to come home. Someone has to be with her 24/7 to help her get into the walker, and walk in it. Help her get into the toilette etc. Neither Gary, nor I are capable of assisting her, as we can barely walk ourselves.Especially with Gary’s heart problems. He is still breatheless when he walks to the bathroom
I feel terrible about this. If I did not arthritic issues ( I’m in a walker myself) we would be able to take her home. Please keep praying that she does make it back to where she was. We will have another conference in two weeks, and her goal may change. I am praying it does not. ButTillieis giving up. She keeps saying she is tired, and all she wants to do is lay in bed, and nap. She did a lot of napping here too, but in her recliner
How did the new glasses and shoes work out for your grandson?? Hope he is thrilled, and able to see everything

I’m so sorry about your SIL. Praying there are good results for her. There are way too many people with hospital stays this month!!
I finally made dinner tonight. We did roasted veggies snd I did something different. I did mozzarella stuffed inside my side of the meatloaf. It was very good. I’ll try to attach pics
No. I did not get any beads today. But, then , none were offered! Lol. Lol
Tillie walked to the bathroom in her room today, and stood up to get into her walker twice…. All with her PT people. Marissa was there visiting and said she finally feels she has a chance to come back home. We are all excited!!
We’re getting snow showers again tonight. I hope we don’t get much
I didn’t see the prayer DD posted! How did I miss that? I have been doing a Novena on line. It’s called Pray More Novenas. This one was for the people of Ukraine. I have been doing novenas with them for years.
I pray Putin stops all this madness. If he doesn’t, I hope someone can intervene to stop him

The doctor will be taking a look at Tillie today to figure out what is wrong I just hope it is curable so he can work on her standing and walking in her walker
It is sunny here today. That always makes it a good day.
I have not heard from Gail. I hope she is ok
I am so exhausted from all the worry and back and forth with the nursing home. Good thing is, they are so helpful with concerns from the family. They work extremely well with family members and attentive to any concerns. I’m glad she is there

It is so hard. You know why you went through with your Mom. The end of life is not easy. You expect it to happen,bd prepare mentally because you know people can’t live forever. She is my last connection to the generation before me. We have been in this house together for 34 years. That’s a long time. I am now the age my Dad was when he died. It is very strange when I think of that
Tillie loves lighted decorations. The duck is glass. I hope it stays in one piece. Lol
It’s very gloomy here. It’s going to rain snd or snow later today
That is still great that you lost the weight! It’s better for your diabetes. Hard on your clothes!
We got oil today. For 121 gallons( not even half the tank) we paid 485.00

I’m glad too. I try to encourage her every time I talk to her I am afraid she is giving up. Then she sounds ok again. The staff there are very nice. The place is clean and well maintained. She is in a good place
I just got the cute little set of ducks from the Q. I’m going to send one in to her so she will be happy to see it. I’ll include a pic below
The sun is shining here too. It is always a good day when the sun shines!! It is really cold , but the sun makes it feel warm

I hope the rain stopped. It is sunny here and a little warmer. The sun always makes you feel happy!
I agree the items on QVC years ago were so much prettier.
Yesterday they got Tillie out of bed with some contraption and into a wheelchair for a while. That is some progress
At least the Olympics are over and the regular shows are back. 👍
We are all praying for peace in Ukraine. Just awful for those poor people!
