Sun is shining in Massachusetts….hip, hip, hooray!

Task for today is…..Frankie is coming to install the new curtain rods in the living room- all 6 of them, and then I will vacuum the toppers, and behind all heavy furniture, and wash insides of windows, as the winter is not done with the outsides yet. Let the spring cleaning begin…….even though Mr. winter is still lurking. We are putting new shades in the living room, so I need to get them ready. Trying to find a similar color, so I will not re-do the entire room. You know how that goes- change one thing, and then the whole room looks weird.

I may be asleep in my chair before Tom Selleck is on at 10.

That is awful about your poor puppy. I hope the surgery comes out ok, and the puppy is back as happy as a clam.
They certainly do make the supermarkets that way, so we are tempted all the time.
We have been so busy today, we may end up with cereal for supper….LOL I will have to make this up to the troops here, or I will be in the dog house. Bobby has been working late too, so it has been crazy.
that is wonderful that your son and DIL will be back up this way, before the baby is born. How great is that! What are they having?
I hope the wind has died down and stays that way for you. We keep getting huge gusts every once in a while. It will be over soon here, and we may see the sun tomorrow.
Hope you enjoy watching Scandal tonight- I love that show.

You are the closest to our weather up here in the north. It has been a wacky, wacky winter. I hope the summer is actually summer this year, as we all need it. It will be so nice to sit outside again. I love to listen to the birds, and feed them. When I forget to fill the feeder, and I go outside, some of the birds squawk until I fill it again. I find that very funny. Either that, or I am thinking they want food….LOL

Your pics of the trees and mountains came out great. It gives us hope for spring over here.
I am allergic to shellfish, and have not seen able to eat it, since that was discovered. But we used to do this:
Saute chopped onion, with garlic in a combo of butter and a little olive oil. Add some white wine, and cook until the onions are clear, for some sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
Add shrimp, and cook unto they are pink- couple of minutes.
Serve over angel hair pasta.
It was really yummy. I used to love shrimp and lobster. It did not love me.
The family owned businesses are being pushed out, all over this country, and it is sad. They cared about their employees.

the Spurtles come form the Q. In the Kitchen with Dave had them on again Sunday. They are wood, and have a curve, so you can both stir, and serve with them. I really like them.
I felt the same way about DWTS. By the way, I cried through all the stories they told. it was very funny. It will be very hard to pick the next one to go.
OMG- from the post I read form Barbara, I thought I had it wrong, and Gail was doing the tiles.
All the recipes everyone has been adding are really yummy. I am embarrassed to say, I have not baked one thing since Easter. I still have some Greek Twisty cookies left. they keep great in a itn, and if they get a little hard, they are great dunked in your coffee, or tea.
I have a funny for you. I got a Keurig Rivo brewer- for cappuccino, espresso, latte, etc. I love cappuccino, and finally splurged. I used my rewards points for the coffee club from Keurig/Green Mountain, and got a fabulous deal on the machine. It lists for 270.00, and I paid 100.00, with my rewards, plus free ship. I was so excited, I had 3 cups. well, I have to say that was a mistake. I got dizzy from all the caffeine. So, I did not have any yesterday. I will have a cup later today. It is such a treat to get something you really love. My only issue is, I have to keep re-arranging things on the counter to fit it in, comfortably. My other Keurig has to stay out, as, of course, because Gary does not like cappuccino. If the very un-social fish died, I would have more room. He will be 3 years old soon.
I have not watched any of the extra Quacker shows on the other channel on Wednesdays. We already watch too many shows on Wednesday nights. Are they good?

I am glad Brent is doing well. You will be so thrilled to see him this summer. That will be great.
I hope they find out if it is a food allergy with Kendall. They make you so sick, and good to know what to avoid. Avoiding dairy will not be easy. So much has some from of dairy in it.
I drove Gary around yesterday, and all I saw was new white Jeep’s everywhere. I have to stay off the road, or I will be in danger of going to the dealership.
The Chew is on- I hope it is good today, as I missed a lot of them this week, and forgot to record.
It is TGIT, and Scandall is having the season finale, I think. What will Olivia do now?
How is the new staff erson working out with Greg? Good, I hope.
The snow is melting from the rain. As awful as that sounds, that is a good thing for today.

Breakfast for dinner is great. we had that the other night. It is a great quick one, when you have no time, too.
that chicken sounds real good. Anything with ranch dressing is good, accept the salt…LOL
We just got high wind warnings for the entire Eastern part of the state. I bet Sue is getting them too.
Tonight I am doing a real easy dinner- frozen Perdue chicken fingers, and frozen fries…LOL…as long as our electricity still works.
Oh,oh- I thought Colleen was putting in the new tile- is it Gail?
