It is like the old fashioned terrariums, without a top. You have 4 tubes, in which you plant 4 seeds, and the tubes are clear, so you can see the root vegies grow. It is only about 8 to 10 inches wide, and about 8 inches tall. It shows them the carrot, onion, and radish growing. A real cute idea for kids who like to see things grow.
We hope Gary will get the sling of fin 2 more weeks. the legs are healing, and there is not more leakage. the swelling is a lot less, and that is good too. I will be so glad when we can get back to normal. he had 3 people today- nurse, OT, and aide. they said he is close to being able to shower himself. There are a lot of restrictions on moving the arm. It cannot go up at all, on his own. So, that makes showering very hard.

What a nice day you had. I wish you would have taken a picture, so we could enjoy your pretty scenery. I love to see everyone’s pics.
So, I may sound dumb but, what is a prawn? Is it a fish?
I bet your part of the country is gorgeous. The mountains are always beautiful. the simple things in life are spectacular, and to have the time to enjoy them is wonderful. We always seem to be in a rush. There is beauty all around us, when we just sit for a second. Like today. It is 70 here, and the birds are singing their hearts out. They will be shocked tomorrow, as it is getting cold, and we are getting snow on Sunday. Yuck! the sounds of spring were music to my ears today.
I hope you have a good weekend, and can go see the mountains again, before it rains.

Hi Colleen
I am so glad your Mom did ok for Easter. Tillie is ok. She had the appointment with the foot doctor. now they are making another brace for her other foot. She hates to wear the brace, and that is what=at caused her toe to have a problem. She was told again, that she has to wear the brace, and not the l slippers. She just will not listen. She hates the brace. It does not hurt her, so that is not the issue- it is the embarrassment of a brace that gets to her.
That is too bad that your oldest daughter could not come. I bet you all missed her.
my favorite if the young man who is deaf. I cannot believe he can dance so well, and hears nothing. What a wonderful role model he is for others with issues. they are all really good, accept that one girl who has such an attitude.
it is in the 70’s today, and it is going to freeze over the weekend, with snow for Sunday. Weird!

I hope you had a good time at the new Mal you were going to. What stores did you like the best? I am amazed that there are stores I have never heard of, all across this great land of ours.
I was no surprised that Gerald went home. I think the actress with the huge attitude should go home next- cannot remember her name.
Your cat is funny. My cats would get u when it was light too. How are kitty’s teeth doing?

Hi Gail
Oh yes, the pizzaghiena is very heavy, and very filling. It is like eating a meat filled Quiche made with lots of eggs, and ricotta and fresh cheese, instead of cheddar. It is a great protein dish.
I cannot believe that crazy bird. he has figured out they are all not real.
The Minnions loved their socks. They were so dam cute! JJ loved the “watch your vegies grow” thing. Aizen loved the bunny, and Steph took JJ’s little bunny…..LOL… she is still a kid at heart.
We ended up with 16 for dinner, and no extras for dessert, because e they all had to leave and go elsewhere. So, we were all cleaned up by 7pm. I was in the chair, and pooped out by the time 60 minutes was on.
the sun finally came out today- hooray!! What a pretty day today was. It is supposed to get colder by the weekend, and then get nice again next week. the lilac bushes have some tiny leave son them.
Hope the sun keeps shining at your place!
Did you like DWTS?? I was not surprised Geraldo was sent home.

The boys were here for Easter, and they had a good time with their Easter goodies. Aizen did him “yum, yum”, with the cookies. he loves cookies. It is so much fun to watch him enjoy something he eats.
It was great to have that special time with your mom, and I am so happy for you that she was feeling good.
Prayers are being sent your way for your daughter’s x-FIL. That is awful. Cancer is such a horrible disease. I hope he will not have to suffer in his last days.

Hi Dianne
I am glad your dinner went well, and that your weather cooperated more than expected. It was gloomy here, then a tiny bit of sun peeked through at end of day. The kids did not do an outside Easter egg hunt, as it was too wet. They were still happy, and that is all that counts.
I did not catch the show, and tried to see what they had on the schedule of shows for the day(yesterdays shows) , and it just would not work. So, I do not know what they featured. I will try again later.
I cannot believe the price of fixing a cat’s teeth!!! I guess I am lucky I did not get another cat. That is just plain awful.
Hope you see some sun today.
