I am pooped today, for sure. I was going to wash the kitchen floor, and decided not to. Ill get to it tomorrow, or Swiffer the floors instead, and wash the kitchen Monday. I need a little break. Going to Church, with all the up and down, is not easy. You do not want to look disrespectful. I did have to sit at one point.
I wonder if that crazy bird will last through another season of head injuries. Sooner or later, you will find his carcass near the window.
I saw a new butterfly shirt- did you get it? In a magazine I was reading- I think Better Homes and Gardens, they had a bathroom done in butterfly wallpaper- thought of you!!
Gary’s legs are getting better. That bandage wrap thing they did stops the leaking. However, every time he has a shower, and has to wait for the nurse to get another bandage wrap, there are still a couple of spots that continue to flow. It is bizarre. It was freaking me out, because we could not stop it. They keep saying they see this all the time, and way worst than him. I will be so glad when he can get back into bed, and get those legs up.
Hope your day is good- it is sunny here, and near 60.

I hope you feel better. What are you allergic to? I am allergic to shellfish, anchovies, seasonal, dust, etc. I have to take a Claritin D and a spray of Nasonex, every day. If I do not, by end of day, I have trouble breathing.
I hope you did not get any damage form all that wind. Each of us have such different weather concerns. I get your storms, days aft you had them, and they are usually a lot weaker. We get the bigger ones coming up the East coast. We had rain with high wind a few days ago, but the maximum wind here was only 65, I think. Way better than what you got.
I have the same problem. A lot of time when I see something I like, my size is gone before I can make up my mind on the color.
I hope this email finds you a lot better. I was not on the site for a day, because I got in late yesterday, and I was exhausted. Had to go to a funeral for an old friend today. Sad when ur fiends start to go.

I figured Ethan was gifted, from what he said to the teacher. A gifted child is hard to parent, and teach, as they are way ahead of everyone. He will go far some day. What is he interested in?
thank you for your prayers. It has been a hectic 2 days. Between Gary and the funeral, I was out straight. He was alone a lot yesterday and today. It is all over, so I am back in my “surgery recovering prison”….LOL He goes to the doctor on Wednesday this week.
In all the commotion of yesterday, Heather and I had eye doctor appointments. I like my new glasses- they match better with the grey hair.
I am reading all the posts I missed in the last 2 days.

Tillie was getting up all night long, because she was afraid the faucet would leak all over the floor. the faucet started to leak on Friday, and I did not want to pay the extra emergency charges, when it was leaking into the sink….LOL
I did see the anchor top, bit a lot of times the stripes do not look so good on me. Some do, and some do not.
Since the nurse wrapped his leg, it has stopped leaking. The nurse said she sees this all the time, and a lot worst than his. Pretty sad elderly people get this, and people who have these surgeries. I will be glad when he can sleep in bed again, so this will all stop.
I have to go to a wake on Friday and the funeral Saturday, of a dear old friend. he had a bout with ling cancer, was in remission, and had emphysema. His name was Bill. A really good man. He was my friend Maxine’s fiancé. They just never married, nor lived together. All her kids consider him their dad, and her grands their Papa. Her first husband died when we were in our 30’s- he got the flu, and when he finally went to the ER, it was too late, and he died the next day. We were all shocked that the flu could kill a healthy, young adult. Since then I freak if someone does not want to go to the doctor. He was a good man too. Whole thing is tragic.
Ethan is hysterical. I bet he is smarter than the teachers. Has he ever been tested for being gifted? I bet his IQ is way up there. good for him, for noticing the teacher does not make sense. What did the principal say, or did your daughter not tell him or her? Kids who are gifted sometimes come off that way. They function at a different level.
It is gloomy here ,a nd will rain later. t is still in the 60’s, and was all night long- I had my bedroom windows open all night- how nice is that??? It is not going to stay this way, after the rain comes.

Hey Gailster…….
I am definitely not a nurse. I have hurt him so many times, you have no idea- taking the arm brace on and off, banged into a few times, etc. We are not exactly small people, so there are times I am working on him, and “whack”, I bump into his arm. He yells, and then says….I know you are not a nurse…..LOL I then remind him how he nearly sent me through the roof when he put my sock on, after the last back surgery. the, he says….I’m a guy”. What a pair of fools we are.
So, just a little while ago, he said he was going in his chair to stay out of my hair for a while. I already told him he cannot retire completely, or we will end up on the evening news. Film at 11:00, as they say.
Oh yes, I will definitely never change plumbers. honestly, I do not think he is unreasonable at all. He is very good. You never have to worry about his work. Plus, he will tell me, if something I want to do, does not need to be done.
I read some of the post to Colleen, and see the kids are as cute as ever. I have not seen the little guys, because they had colds, and do not want Gary to get it. that is funny today, because I am now sick. Even Amanda stayed away, because she was sick. She heard me on the phone today, and howled, saying it seemed to make no difference that she did not visit, as I got it anyway.

I am glad you like your top. I noticed that the tops on today’s show that I liked also had a cotton blend, so I did not order it.
that sling is very cumbersome- it gets in the way of his getting through the doors. Our master bath is small, and he has to go sideways by the sink….that he insisted I bought too big….LOL
the nurse had to come back again today, and do a dressing for Gary’s leg- the swelling has caused a skin issue. there is nothing that can be done, until he is back in bed to get those legs back to normal.
I wear the Patriotic shirts all summer long. I have always loved the red. white, blue thing in summer. Even when I was a teenager.
I bet we will all be having the egg hunts inside this year. The weather has been so weird. It is so hot here today, we have a lot of windows open. A nice chance to get some fresh air in here. It is supposed to rain soon- tomorrow, I think.
Has anyone heard from Barbara, Debra, or Debbie? I worry about them.

Hi Dianne
Look at my post to Gail for all the daily info….LOL I missed the shows, because of all the people coming and going for the husband. I did look at the items on the website, though. I like the short sleeve butterfly shirt- still thinking about that one.
Google The Christmas Tree Shops, and you can see what they have on line. I order on line a lot, as I have trouble getting around, and standing in long lines.
We have had sin for the past few days, and it is wonderful. I am hoping you will see the sin too. If I saw a funnel cloud, I would pass out. I would also run, screaming, if I saw all the snakes Coleen has in her yard. We have a lot of birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and some bunnies in our yard. We also have coyotes- yuck! My son sees them early in the morning, when he leaves for work. They come out of my neighbors yard, because he does not have a pool, so there is no fence on his property. They walk down his driveway- can you imagine????
Bill Roker was just saying your area is getting a huge amount of rain- we will be praying for you to be safe. The rain is coming here, but we will not get as much as you. Stay safe!
