Hi Barbara,
I think that little sign makes all of us grumpy. It really does get in the way and it is not necessary. They always something extra that we do not need when they change the page on here. lol I need ot go to a computer class and learn about how to do things on here.
Wood stoves are so nice. My sil has a wood burning furnace. Those are really nice also. They had theirs put in a few years ago. That really cuts down on the utility bills. Now if they could figure out how to us wood to run the air conditioner in the summer that would be really nice. Jerry is a smart guy if he could rig that to heat the whole house. We may have to borrow him and he could tell Ron how to do it. Then Ron and Jerry could sit and talk about it for a year or two.lol That is how long we have had our tile now. It is still in boxes under the bed. We just pull it out once in awhile and look at it.
I was very lucky to have found a new doctor. She wants to get all the tests done and then decide what to do with the stomach. She was a nice person and seemed to care about her patients. She ordered all of those tests in one day and now I will not have to be running back and forth to the hospital for them. I appreciate the prayers. The lump is what really surprised me. She said that she did not know what it was so she ordered that tested also. At least will not have to wait for months to get all of these things tested. I do not think that the other doctor would have done anything at all.
It is just going to be so nice to see your son and his wife. Maybe the granddaughter will come along and stay also. I hope that she does so you can see her. It is hard to keep up with them when they are out of school and on their own.
Things here are high also. We use propane instead of natural gas. Sometimes that can get really high. Ron tries to get it filled in the summer when the prices are lower. We are lucky we only have to have the tank filled once a year. Our place is small though and is not that hard to heat.

Frankie is a good worker. That was nice that he got all of that done for you. That is really going to look nice when you get done with it. Ron very seldom gets things done fast. If I was asking him to do that it would take 3 to 4 years to get done. You are lucky to have Frankie there for you.
It would funny to see that guy out there trying to get that bush covered and the wind taking it right off again. That freeze did not kill all of our budding trees. The dog woods do not look as good as they did at the beginning but as long as they get green leaves that will be fine. The red buds must be a stronger tree. The buds on them still look really good. Are you getting the snow they predicted? I sure hope not that is a little too much snow. We were about ready to plant some veggie plants but the cold stopped us and I am glad that we did not do it the other day when we talked about it. Now we will have to wait for the ground to get warm again. This time of the year I am ready for fresh veggies. Oh well will have to wait a little longer.
My youngest daughter and her family are here. They came yesterday afternoon. They took us out to dinner. Ron kept trying to give them some money but they would not take it. So will have to figure out a way to give it to them so they do not know what I am doing. I tried to tell Ron to be careful about doing that because the kids will get their feelings hurt. So many just divide the money up between the two grand kids to spend on their trip. That way they will have to take it. They cannot refuse a gift to a child.
Well am going to have to cut this short. Will have to start breakfast soon. They all slept really good and here I am at 6am on here. This is crazy. Could not hardly sleep.

One thing about watching shows on tv in the summer they run re runs and on QVC plus it will be different each week. So when all the reruns come on you can watch Chics night in.lol It makes it easy on everyone.
The tile is still under the bed. I am still trying to get a hold of his nephew. If I could get a hold of him he would be glad to put it down for us. That might inspire Ron to put this stuff down and stop making me wait. We have one more bathroom that needs to have tile laid. Men really do get lazy sometimes. We have carpeting in the bathroom now and I hate it. It needs to go.
The new shades sound really nice. It is good that you have someone there to help you. You have to clean when you have someone there to move the furniture. I cannot move my couch either. Ron does that and we vacuum behind there and move the chairs and everything else. At least you are getting things done right away. You would have to wait for years to get things done here. It drives me crazy.
I am sorry to hear that you are getting more snow there also. We are not getting snow but the weather is supposed to drop below freezing. That will kill a lot of the plants and trees that are blooming. We have dog woods and red buds that are all bloomed. If it freezes tonight they will probably not make it thru this freeze. We will see if they do or not. We cannot cover all of those up. They are trees and are not easy to cover. My mom was laughing at the neighbor. He was trying to cover his plants and the wind was blowing so hard that it would blow back in his face. She said she would go help him but the wind is too strong. It would probably blow her over. She said that she does not think that the cover will be on that for very long. I am not sure if it is a bush or flowers. They are entertaining my mom though.lol
I cannot believe that prices that you pay for tomatoes and fresh veggies. I know that the veggies are higher here in the winter but cannot remember paying that much for a tomato. I guess it depends on how far they have to be shipped. We still live close enough to some of the southern states that grow veggies in the winter time. So it is not as bad for us. We also have those vine tomatoes and they are cheaper then the individual ones. The big problem with some of the ones they sell in the winter they are hot house veggies and they are not as good. I cannot wait to get our garden going. I am so glad that Ron did not rush and plant some more things in the garden. We have green onions. We also have been picking asparagus. I love when the fresh food comes in.

Hi Gail,
I am sorry to hear that you are still getting snow. We are supposed to get below freezing tonight and that is not good. We have a lot of things blooming and my forever rose is budding already and so are my lilacs. I just hope they do not freeze and ruin them forever. This crazy weather. Our weeping willows are also getting leaves on them. We will see if everything survives thru this freeze.
That is the pits that they do not have that fixed yet. I just looked on the site here and looked at the show schedule. Guess we will have to do that until they get this mess fixed. We may just have to remind each other. It has really messed up my dvr but do not want to change it because of the chance they will fix it. I do not like to miss that show it is a lot of fun and they seem to be more relaxed on that one.
That is sad that she cannot stop and get ice cream for the kids. Poor Kendall. I wonder what treat she can get her instead of an ice cream. This would be a hard thing to deal with. Hope that they figure it out soon and find out why she has stomach trouble. That is not fun to have stomach pain like that. Do the other two object to getting their shots? I hope that it does not bother them like it does when they are babies that is really hard on a mom.
I think you are right about the show this week-end. Well we all know what top you will be getting if they have it on this show. A new butterfly top will be winging its way to your house. I think she said that there will be some flower tops on that show we will see. I am so anxious to see what the tsv will be on the 14th. It should be interesting. She said that it will go with the top with the fake zipper on the top. I need to look up the number on that top so everyone will know what I am talking about. It is cute.
That check on the texts is something else. It is like it just pulls words out of a hat and puts it on there. Do you have trouble hitting the back space on the the phone. I will be typing something in on the phone and it will erase it all and I will have to start over. I know that I hit the button while I am texting. The you almost have to start all over. I am not as good at texting. At least on the computer I can find the keys and can type fairly fast. I would not win any awards but can get things done.
I have a question for you. Do you call it soda or pop where you are? We call Pepsi and Coke soda but when we lived in Rockford they called it pop. When we got use to calling it pop we had to switch back to calling it soda. It is funny how things are called by a different name in different areas.

You have posted some really pretty pictures. I like the mountains and the trees with the flowers. They are really pretty. I love to see the snow caps on top of the mountains. You really live in a pretty state.
Gail and I both grow Asparagus. Mine is coming in now and Gail’s will come in later in the spring. So you could stay here until our runs out and then move in with Gail until hers runs out. You will have your fill of asparagus for the year. We keep getting more and more every year. They take a long time to start up really well. They are good though. We steam them until they are tender and they are so good.
That is expensive when asparagus is in season and then they go up just like all the other veggies do. It is just what is in season is cheaper. Asparagus is still a little expensive probably they are hard to grow. I guess. We do not do much with ours though so maybe that is not it. Maybe because the season is so short. It is good though and sometimes worth the money if you have extra. If you are like us extra money is hard to come by.
That is terrible that the landlords are getting away with that. It seems like if they keep raising the rent and putting people out on the streets they are going to run out of people that can afford the rent. Some people are so greedy. It is a good thing that you are where you are and do not have to worry about it. I will never understand people doing things like that.
The pictures are really pretty. You did a good job taking them. You are good at taking pictures. I usually get too far away and do not get the lenses right and you cannot see what I shot. It is a gift to be able to take a good picture.
My tests will not be done until the 18th of this month. They are wanting to do all of them on the same day. So that way I will not have to keep running back and forth. I will be glad when they are over with.

I am so sorry to hear about Ellie. I hope that she does well when they operate. Is she the one that got bitten by a snake? I cannot remember which one that was now. Have you had any more strays come and move in lately? We have not had any strays on our end of the road for awhile. I am glad of that.
They say that they do that in stores so you will buy more. They also do that in Wal Mart so you have to go all thru the store looking around and you will buy more then just your groceries. I believe that because things are never where they use to be at our store. I do not buy more though. I just get aggravated that I have to search for what I want and sometimes just leave with out getting anything. I wonder how many people do that. It does feel like you are running a marathon.
Your pizza sounds really good. We have not had pizza in a long time. That is funny that you scraped all the good stuff off and left the crust. Most everyone likes the crust but if you did not feel like eating bread I do not blame you for doing that. It would be good on or off the crust.
That is nice that you son is coming home for Fathers Day. I can imagine that you are so excited for him to come home. Will the kids be with him and his wife are they too big to travel with them now. I thought they may be at the age where they are in college and have other things to do. Mine are only in high school and junior high and they always have things they have to do and they do not come over as much as they use to. It is sad when they get to that age. I wish we could get them to stop growing so fast. They just will not cooperate.

I know what you are talking about now. I just did not know the name. My mind is going and it is really getting bad. I hope that you like the ones you get if you have to send them back. It is a shame they are not right.
You bake all the time you need to take a break. If you still have cookies left you need to wait until they eat all of them before you start again. Things must be going okay and you do not feel the need to bake. lol The Chew is mostly reruns right now. I guess they took the week off after Easter. I hope they are not done for the year. They showed the one where Daphne introduced her new baby and had her little girl with her. So all the recipes were the old ones that they had shown before.
You are so funny Adele. I cannot believe that you drank 3 cups. Caffeine can do some strange things to people. Well at least you did not get dizzy and fall. That is one good thing. I guess you will not drink that many cappuccinos. Did Gary notice that you were dizzy? If he is like Ron the only way that he would notice is if you fell or was staggering all over the place.
I can’t believe that fish is still alive. They usually do not live that long. This one is kind of a pain so he will hang on for another two or three years.lol I am not sure what they life span is for a fish. Especially one in a fish bowl. Will have to look that one up. It is a shame that the friendly one had to die. You may have to find a new place for the fish. It is hard to find a good spot for one of those bowls that you put them in.
I like the chics night in because they are more relaxed then the regular shows. They laugh and joke around and do not seem to be in such a hurry all the time They have a snack on there that Kristi makes and she shares the recipe on here. Last night it was cupcakes made to look like flowers. They were really cute. I did not hear her say what the drink what that she made. She makes something different every Wednesday night. Can you get qvc plus yet? It is a shame that you cannot.
I do like this new doctor. I have only seen her once and she has already set up all of these tests. She found the lump and she wanted to have tests run on that right away also. I think that I am going to really like her. She is a little hard to understand she has an accent but I will get use to her. She does listen and she does what she can to help and find out what is going on.

I am sorry to hear about Kendall. I hope that she is just allergic to something that they put in the frozen yogurt. That would be hard for a child not to be able to eat ice cream or anything like that. Chocolate candy has dairy in it also doesn’t it. Maybe it will be something that she will grow out of. The poor kid. I hope that the other two are okay and did not have to go for anything serious. Maybe it is time for Piper’s buster shots. I cannot remember how often they have to go for them.
I did tell them on the quacker site. I told I guess it was James. I got an e-mail saying that we should go to this site and look at the schedule and make sure that it is on. Last night I could not set it up on the dvr because it was showing another show that came on at 7pm and was still going at 9pm. So had to wait until it came on and set it then. They are supposed to have some new things on Saturday on the main channel. It will be interesting to see what they have. Will put that on the dvr also. I wish dish would get that all straightened out. They only seem to be doing that with the qvc plus schedule. I have not notice it on any other channel.
That will be so nice when Brent comes home. Will his new girlfriend be with him? I bet you are excited that he is coming it will be so nice to see him and meet this girl. Sounds like they are happy together. I hope they are like this for a long time and he has found someone to be happy with again.
I have never tried to get to here from there. I just come on this page and click on the person that has typed something on here. That way I do not have to go to discussions and go thru all of that stuff. If that made sense. I cannot type tonight. I have to keep going back and correcting my spelling. If that little red line did not come up I would not even notice it. Spell check is nice sometimes and others it is a pain.
We use to watch American Idol and then we just got bored with it after awhile. It interfered with the news so that was not good.lol It is a shame to see it go. Ryan Seacrest will find a new project I am sure.
He was good at doing that show and he will be good at doing another. Did he use to be a radio announcer? Those always seem to find another job.
