Hi Adele,
At least he is not in any pain anymore. From what we were told he was in so much pain and did not know anyone anymore. He did not know his wife at the end. It was just really sad that she could not have one last conversation with him. That was hard on her. She is a nice lady.
I feel for Tillie. It is hard to wear a brace when you do not feel comfortable wearing one. I guess when we get that age we will not want to wear stuff like that either. I feel that way about the back brace. Makes you look like a invalid. It is just a way of life.
I do like that deaf man on dwts. It seemed to me like he had a hard time with the fast dance. He did really good the first week with the slow dance. I do not see how he does it if he cannot feel the vibrations to help with the beat. I cannot remember why he said that he could not feel it. Maybe because of the crowd and all the noise. I hope that he goes far in the competition and they get it all worked out for him. I do like that the judges are trying to keep things fair. It must be hard on them to judge him. You are right about that one girl. She is so tall and sometime that makes it hard. But she does have such a bad attitude. It is hard to like her. I get she goes this week. It really makes you wonder why she agreed to do the show. She never smiles. Poor Mark he has to try to dance with her and get her to do the dance. We will see what happens.

It is good to hear that her parents are safe from the fire. That is so scary. I did not realize that it was in New Mexico. My nephew owns some land there plus the house where he lives now. I am not sure where his land is. Hope it was not near where the fires were. He does not like there so it will not be too bad. He lives in Farmington NM. He really likes it there.
You can have a lot more fun with boats and guitars then you can with veggie plants. lol Ron usually plants seeds in all those little things to but not this year. I guess he did not have much luck last year so he is not going to try it again. We had a lot of veggies so do not know why he feels that way. Who knows about men. They do some strange things sometimes.
Melissa’s x fil died this afternoon. It is just so sad. At least he died at home where he wanted to be. Ethan is really taking it hard and does not want to go back to that house. It is really going to be hard on him. He lost his grandma also a few years back and he still thinks about her. It is so hard on the young kids to handle. Kaylee just said well at least now he will know who we are and went back and started playing. Little ones look at things so much different then we do or her older brother, So if you think of them please say a prayer especially for Ethan.
Our asparagus is up but not enough to eat yet. It will really start growing next month and we will be eating it by the middle of April. I think that ours was all gone by the time you started picking yours. It will be interesting to see if it will be the same this year. Our weather has been so weird that there is not telling. I worry about our plants this time around. We had that freeze the other day and I hope it did not do any damage to any of them. The Easter flowers did survive though which was nice. They always look so pretty. Ron said that he will have to start cutting the grass next week. It is really growing already. I guess because we got so much rain.
Did you get that rain today? it rained here this morning then the sun came out this afternoon. It was so sunny and it got in the low 70″s. It is supposed to get down in the low 40’s tonight. That is crazy the way the weather goes up and down. We had a lot of wind today. Blew the chairs around on the deck. glad that nothing got broken.
I will see the new doctor on the 6th of April. Will be glad to see her and find out what is going on with me. Hope she will help. I need to have that kidney checked again and see if the lesion has gotten any bigger. That other dimwit did not do anything.

We had a nice day today also. It was sunny and warm. It is not going to last long for us though. It is supposed to cool down tonight and be cooler tomorrow. We will see if they are right. Your weren’t rubbing it in you were just so glad to see the sun and some warm weather. No one can blame you for that. So you just go on about your warm weather and beautiful sunshine all you want.
Sound like you had a really nice day today. Your lunch sounds really good and your friends sound really nice. It was nice that they stayed off the high way so you could all see that beautiful scenery. I love to drive around in the spring when everything is coming out and it all looks so pretty. Then in the fall when the leaves change. The summer and the winter are not as pretty. I live in the mid west also. I hope they are wrong about the snow. That is just not fair to send us more snow now. lol
You should have taken a picture of the scenery and posted it on here. It would be a beautiful picture. Especially with the snow capped mountains. You live in a beautiful state.

Sounds like you had a big crowd for Easter. That is funny about Aizen and his yum yum when he eats the cookies. He really is a cookie monster.lol The watch your garden grow that you got for JJ sounds really nice. He will get a lot of fun out of that and a good learning tool.
That was nice that you were all cleaned up and sitting in your chair by 7pm. We were still cleaning up at that time. We did get all the paper and stuff cleaned out of the floor form the kids going crazy with their stuff. They always leave things behind. We weer four people short this year for Easter. My oldest daughter and her family could not come. Owen had to go to his dad’s so he was really missed. The boys always have so much fun hunting the eggs together. IT was such a fun day and sounds like you had a fun day also. Everyone was happy with their things and Steph ended up with a bunny.lol I got the kids baskets at Cracker Barrel this year. I cannot believe the sale that we got on them. They had some cute things in them also. It was surprising.
How was Tillie feeling? Hope that she was well also. Mom did pretty good but wanted to go home earlier then she usually does. She is going to come back in the fall if she is in better health. We will have her back then no matter how she feels. She does not have to stay a long time but for a couple of days and that will be nice. We have all been trying to get her to spend some time with us in our homes. Then we do not have to worry about her staying at home alone.
I think that we are all in agreement that Geraldo was the one to go home first. He sure could not dance. It was sad to see him trying to dance when he couldn’t. It will be interesting to see who goes home next. That one girl that is so tall has trouble dancing with her partner. He is too much shorter for her. She needed a taller partner. She is another one that has never danced. She is trying though. She looks so scared every-time she gets out there. She would do better if she would calm down. This group of dancers are really good though and it is going to be tough to find a winner. I do not know who my favorite is right now. Do you have a favorite?

That must be a big relief to you knowing that he is headed back to Clovis. Is her family home still in danger from the fire? I hope they get them out before it gets anywhere near their home. Fires are so scary. They do damage to everything and there is very little left when the fire is done.
Ron did not plant anything in trays this year. It did not work out so well for him last year so I guess he decided not to do it again this year. I guess he is going to buy the plants. He will plant the seeds for the sugar snap peas this year they grow really easy. I do not know what else we will plant. I would like to plant some butternut squash this year. I have seen a lot of recipes for that. Did you see the one that Daphne did on the chew yesterday? It looked really good. It is supposed to be low calorie. She does make some good things on there but they do not have her cook that often. I think that she should cook some more and get some experience. Maybe add some of their techniques to her style of cooking. That is just my opinion though. I have not watched the show yet will watch it when Ron goes to bed.
Did you notice that they had the wrong time for the Quacker show again tonight. They had a camera show on the schedule instead of quacker. I went ahead and put that show on the dvr so I would get the show I wanted to watch. I wonder if we should send a notice to dish about the error they have on their schedule. I do not know if it is their mistake or qvc mistake on what they sent in. Who do you think would be the best group to notify?
We have the same weather that you are having. It rained all day today and is supposed to rain again tomorrow. Hope that they are wrong about the weather here and there. We need some sunshine in both areas. It has been so chilly also. It is good chili weather. We do not usually fix chili this time of year. It is starting to get warmer. This si strange weather.

Sounds like fun to go out with friends for the afternoon. Hope you could at least go out for lunch. That is the most fun anyway. lol I am always thinking about food here lately.It is fun to window shop just to see what is new. Sometimes it is fun to look at things that I would never buy but fun to see it in the store.
I figured that Geraldo would go this week. He just could not dance. You have to give him e for effort. That latin dance that he did last night was not really any good. The get up he was wearing did not make sense to me. I did not see what it had to do with the whole dance routine. He did that too early in the show. That would have been better when they do one of their dress up shows.
I will not buy the shorts either. They will show my elephant knees and do not want to do that. It would scare everyone away. I have to have them below the knee and hide the knees. I guess they would be okay to wear around the house. Would just have to go and change real quick if some one came to the door.lol
I still have my Easter decorations up. I am not sure when I will take them down. I do not have as many as you have though. Your decorations are so pretty. You do a really good job decorating. I kept most of my decorations in the living room this year and did not decorate all the other rooms.
Jewel was probably excited to see the sun out and wanted you to enjoy the sun with her. Your weather sounds great. We have had rain all day today and it is supposed to rain again tomorrow. It would be nice to see the sun. It has been chilly here also. Wish we had sunshine and a little warmer weather.

Hi Gail,
Her x fil has been really good to her and Ethan. When his son did not pay child support he made sure that she had the things that she needed. He was really good during this whole thing.They live closer to where she lived at the time. We live so far away it was hard for us to get there when she needed us. So he would go and help her until we got there. He was a lot of help when needed.
Ethan want a skating party. They just have one party and it is where the kids want it. I think that Ethan should have asked me first. He is just like a kid.lol They have a skating rink and games that the kids can play. They have a nice party room where the adults can sit. It is in the same as the skating rink and all of that but it is back in a corner where you are off to yourselves. So I guess it is not a room and just an area. We have family centers around and they have all kinds of things for the kids to do. They have to go carts in there also. It is a nice place for the kids. I really do not enjoy going places like that anymore but you have to show up if you are a grandparent.lol
No mom does not live in the house where we grew up. They had moved away from there a long time ago. The area was really getting bad so they wanted to move away. Mom was home a lot by herself when dad would go away for hearings. So they moved to the country. Then when my dad died she bought a house in Washington mo. She lived in Dutzow and the house that her and dad had built was too big and was starting to need work and she could not take care of it anymore. It would flood in that area whenever we had a lot of rain. She did not live in an area that flooded but all the areas around her would flood and we could not get to her. So it was better for her to move across the river to Washington where it does not flood. Now she is close to her doctors and shopping. She is supposed to come back in the fall when she is doing better and stay longer.
We just gave them money this year. Instead of putting them in the egg. We hid them with the money outside also. Just this year was different. If one of the sil and our daughters did not hide the eggs it would be a problem. They each take a section of the yard and they remember where the eggs are. So it all works out just right. If it was me and Ron we would have to make a map of where we hid them. We have found eggs in the house that they did not find. One was in a tea cup and had been there for a year. Ron and I hid them.lol.
I hope that Kendall has a fun time shopping with her other grandma. You will have to tell us about all the things that she gets. She seems like she would have good taste in clothes and picking out things that she needs. It is nice that all of them will get to go.
I hope that Brent and his girlfriend get out of the mountains before they get trapped up there. Is it close to where their cabin is located? I had not heard of any fires in that are. I will have to watch the weather channel and see how the fires are. Hope that they are out by now. The wind has been bad in a lot of places. This is just a bad year. I hope that April will be a better month. We have had the wind and rain this month so hope that April will not have as much rain. Ron has been working out in the garden and got all the weeds and stuff out. So when he is ready to plant it is ready. Our onions are really growing. We may have green onions before too long. I love to fix them with fresh spinach and garlic.

We had a really nice Easter and sounds like all of you did also. Dianne it was so nice of you to take dinner down to your friends so you two could enjoy the day together. The meat balls must have been a hit. Will have to try them sometime. That cake that we got was so good and the sides that we ordered were all eaten so nothing to put in the fridge. We had enough ham left to feed another family.lol I am glad that your weather was nice. I am glad that you got your cable fixed and you can watch tv now without all the other problems. We have satellite here they do not have cable this far out. I taped the QF show and will watch it later after I get off here.
Gail, Your brunch sounded really nice. That was such a good idea. I do not know if they have a place around here that does that are not. Our dinner turned out pretty good. That cake was so good I would recommend it to everyone. It is really large also. I still have a lot left. We sent some down to Joe and Ruth. Not so with the side dishes that we bought. They were gone and they wanted more. So will have to order them again. Your day was so nice. That must have been a lot of fun with the brunch and then the egg hunt. It is nice when you can just sit and relax. We had to have our Easter egg hunt before dinner this year. The weather cooperated for the kids. They got her at 1pm and we let them hunt the eggs and not too long after they got done it started to rain. So we were grateful that it held off for that long so we did not have to hide 58 eggs in the house. That would be a mess. That was nice that Gabby and Enya got to go to brunch with all of you. We took mom home today so now it is so quite here we can hardly stand it. It will be like that for awhile. The next birthday will be April 20th. So we will all get together then. I think that it is going to be at a skating rink again. Will not put skates on this time though. Do not want Ron to have a stroke. I am glad that you had a good Easter.
Hi Adele, Your desserts looked really good. We could all come over and eat the rest of the goodies that you have.lol You had a good Easter also. Sounds like everyone did. That pizzaghinea looks almost like a cake. I probably spelled that wrong sorry about that. Did the boys get to come over for the festivities? I bet they liked those goodies bags that you made for them. Our primaries are over with. They were about three weeks ago. I am glad that they are over here. Ron is still watching the news and it is the same old thing over and over again. It was so nice to get to spend some time with my mom. She is funny. I was going to try and write on here but every time I would start to go on here and she would start talking to me. She would do that until I would get off of here. So I gave up. Did the birthdays and did not try and do anything else. It would be interesting if she and Ron were both here together all the time. She would be chatting with me and when she got done Ron would start. Life would be different. They also chat with each other. How did it all work with the big crowd that you had? Sounds like a big Italian family get together. My bil is Italian and they have get together s like that also. We have been to a couple and they get a little crazy. They are a lot of fun though.
Ladies I need some prayers for my daughter,s x father in law. This is my youngest daughter. He has had cancer for awhile but he is not doing good now. They do not give him much more time. So they can use all the prayers that they can get. He is ready to die he is in so much pain. Kaylee and Ethan are really not understanding what is going on and they are going to take it really hard if when this happens. So they can all use the prayers.
