Hi Gail, Adele, Dianne and Sue.,
Sue I hope that your snow will be like ours was. It came down really hard and then the sun came out and melted it. Sure was glad to see it melt. This is not the best time of the year for snow.
Dianne, I love your Christmas decorations. They are so pretty. It seems like we all have villages that we put out. My mom use to do ceremacs and she does not make them anymore. So those houses I treasure. The kids will take them for sure when I give them away. I know that one day I will have to do that. But not for now.
Gail, my youngest daughter use to play the clarinet. She played in the band at school. She does not play anymore either. She gave the clarinet to Kylie but she does not play anymore either. She did not like to play it and gave up on band. She is more into acting in the plays. She gets for a part in every play they have at school. So she is pretty good.
Sue thanks for sending that number for the spices will have to call and get the spices.
Well girls the dinner was really good and everyone came and had fun. The baby did not like it as much though she cried a lot. She is not use to being around such a big crowd. She could not take a nap she kept waking up before she was done sleeping. She finally fell asleep when I was rocking her and slept for a long time and when she woke up it was time to go home. We made three things of corn beef, three cabbages. a bag and a half of carrots and just about everything was eaten. I forget that the boys and the older girls are eating a lot more then they use to. Ron and I had enough corn beef to eat a sandwich today and half a bowl of cabbage and carrots. We had two packages of roles and they ate all of them. Next year I will have to fix a lot more. lol We also had an Easter egg hunt. They had a good time doing that and they did let Kaylee find some of them. Owen found the golden egg. He was excited and Kaylee was not happy. So will hide it again on Easter and let her find it. The boys have both found it once so it is her turn. Owen will not be here on Sunday so that is why we had a small hunt yesterday. It was not like it will be on Easter. We will hide 56 eggs. That will keep them busy for a long time.
Do you do an egg hunt on Easter? We use the plastic eggs and get the ones that are filled. It is easier then trying to fill them. Ron and I are still tired from the day. It was a handful. The kids were really wound up. They had not seen each other for awhile so they were having a good time.

Your mom’s hair looks good. I also like the top that she is wearing. I think at that age it does not take a lot to make therm feel sick. My mom feels like that once in awhile also. It takes them longer to feel better also. I wish that I knew what to do for them but guess their is not much. The doctor says that she is doing fine and not to worry so I guess that is what we will have to do, Just do what you are doing for her. You are really good to her and she is in a good home.
Glad to hear that his legs are getting smaller. Will be interesting to hear what the nurse will say. You are probably judge of it because you are with him all the time and you have seen them at their largest and their smallest. So you may know better the if she just looked at it. Just hope that she says that they are doing fine.
How many days will you be baking? You make so much for every holiday and birthdays. You are such a good baker. When will you make the bread? Do you have all the goodies that you are going to bake in your mind or are you still making some decisions? My mom use to make a bunny cake and it was really cute. The best that I am doing is ordering one from qvc. It will be cute though, I will add a few touches to make it look like I baked it. No my kids will know better. I may have done things like that when they were young but not anymore.
We had snow here today also. It covered the ground and melted just about as fast as it came down. We had big flakes and it really came down. Then the sun came out and it melted. Now it is cloudy again and it will be interesting to see if it snows here again. This is some weird weather. Hope that it is done for now and hope that your snow is like ours was. Here for a little while and then it melts.

I love the way that you decorated your apartment. It is really pretty. You really do a lot and it looks very festive. I bet you get a lot of compliments on your Easter decorations like you do for Christmas. We have that in common. I have a lot of Christmas things that I put out. I collect Santa’s and they are all over the house at Christmas. I also have a lot of other things that I put out. I have two trees one is just Santa’s on it and nothing else. I have been collecting the ornaments and Santa’s for a long time.
Mine has not been watching March madness this year. My son-in-law does though. He is an Alabama fan and so he has to watch. I am not sure their team is all that good though not like their foot ball team.
I think that we all like Stephen Walsh he is so funny. He has been coming for such a long time. I like the Irish shows anyway. I wanted to get my mom one of the sweater coats that they usually have but they did not have them this year. Maybe on the Rose of Tra Lee. I cannot remember when that starts.

It is hard to sleep when your partner is not comfortable. I hope that the towel works for Gary. The poor man has been having so many problems. It was good news about his legs also. Maybe he will be back in shape by summer. I bet he is ready to go back to work. That was always Ron’s problem he could never stay home and in bed for very long.
I got the number for the top that I was talking about and am sending it to you. It is A213352. I think that we are talking about two different tops. This is not the one that had the stripes on the whole shirt. It only has stripes around the collar and very small and around the cuff of the sleeves. If you want to look at it I sent the number. I noticed that they still have a lot of them left. They have a small anchor at the neckline and on each sleeve.it is just really cute.
You are right our mothers are such a gift right now. We try to remember everything that she tells us about the family so we can keep it going. It is interesting to hear the stories of the families. Hers and my dads. We need to write it all down. It is important that our children remember this stuff.
Sounds like you will have a lot of help. That is nice that Enzo’s mom will help also. Your dinner will be so good and the bread that you are making will be fantastic. The bread that I am having is in the freezer already made and just needs to be heated. They are rolls and that is about it. Probable will do the same with the bread for Easter. I need your baking skills or someone with your baking skills to come over and bake bread for me. Your dinner sounds really good. My mom is funny she wants ham for Easter and that is what we will have. It does not matter if we took a vote and everyone said we want something else Mom would insist that we have ham and would not let it alone unless we have it. I guess that is one privilege of age. Everyone listens to you.
Maybe Gary will not have to go to more then one or two of those visits. Especially the wound clinic. That will stop when the leg starts to get better. Are the wounds closing up? That is what is important with diabetes. I pray that all of this ends soon and you and Gary can get back to normal.
We really do not know who to vote for. It is such an important decision. We are both just praying that we make the right choice. Just know that it will not he Hilary Clinton. I cannot believe that you are going to get some snow. It is too late in the year. Ron keeps saying that we are in for one more snow storm here sounds like he might be right.

Glad to hear that Kendall is doing good. She is so cute. That is cute that she was proud of herself that she made it the whole night at the sleep over. That will be just the beginning of a lot of sleep overs for her. She will really enjoy them the older she gets. That is really nice that her grandma takes her shopping with the other girls. I can see where that would make her feel grown up. I bet they have a lot of fun doing that.
The name Lance Lipinski sounds so familiar. I do not know if I have heard him on a cd or why his name sounds familiar to me. I know that I have never seen him play in person so that is not it. I love to listen to piano music. In my mind I am a fantastic piano player but in reality I cannot play a note. That is one instrument that I always wanted to learn to play. Do you play an instrument or have you ever wanted to play one? I imagine with your love of music that you probably do play or have dreamed of playing.
That is funny that the dogs cannot go out when Greg is practicing his swing. I imagine you follow the same rule. I do not think that it would be a smart idea to go out in the back when he is playing golf. You could get little football helmets for the dog and for yourself and then you would not have to worry.lol I hope that he takes his cell phone with him so if you need him you can just call.
Thanks for the info on the fish. I have always wondered and probably should have looked it up. The fish you have seem to have stayed really healthy over the winter months. You have taken really good care of them.
Stephen Walsh is a character. It is hard not too smile when he is on the air. I just wish they would go back to doing the shows like they use to do for such a long time. They always had Irish musicians that would come and play music and sing and they had the table set up like you were in a pub. That always looked so cute. I do not understand why they stopped doing that. It seems like they always sold out of a lot of items. Times are really changing.
Thank heaven that the tree was not very big. It is a shame that you lost a flowering tree though. They are so pretty.

I cannot believe that you are getting such cold weather. It was not that cold all winter was it? Maybe it was and I just do not remember. You have a lot of strange weather like the rest of us. I cannot believe that Adele is going to get more snow. It is too late in the year for that stuff.
I am glad that you got your new blouse today. it sounds really cute. This must be a good day for deliveries from the q. I got my navy dream jeannes today also. They were really cute also. Now I have the top to go with my yellow and navy top. it looks so good together.
Not a whole lot going on here either. I have been cleaning all week and trying to get things done before Saturday. I still have more to do but will get it done what isn’t done will just not get done until next week. At least it will be done by Easter. With my back problems can only do one room at a time. Then I have to wear this stupid back brace. Oh well we have to do what we have to do.

It is hard to believe that one day they will be gone. Guess when you are young like that you do not think of people dying. It is sad that they have to learn that lesson. It is hard to lose a parent.
That was good news that Gary can lay down again and the legs are not as swollen. Did it bother you that he was in the bed? I am talking about worrying about rolling into him are hitting his arm. I was like that when Ron hurt his shoulder. He fell off a chair and broke his shoulder and did some damage to his wrist. We had a hospital bed for him for a little while but then we sent it back. It was nice for the short time that we had it though.
You are going to have a houseful for Easter. The kids should come over and help you get ready. Well Bobby will be there to help and he is a good cook. All of your kids are good helpers. All you would have to do is ask for help and they would be there. You have a good family.
if you get some things done that will be good but if not that will be fine also. With all that you have going on you do not need to worry about things. You are okay. Just bake what you can and cook what you can and just enjoy the day. It is good that Amanda will come and do the bags for you. That will be one less thing for you to do.I started to order the cake and then did not. I keep changing my mind. I need to do that and get it before it is too late. If I had your baking skills I would not have to worry about buying anything.
I pray for your mom also. They are getting older and we are lucky that they have never fallen and really hurt themselves. We are really blessed to have our moms for so long. We just have to pray that they will be here for a lot longer.
I am so tired of politics all I can do is pray that we pick the right person for president. I will never vote for Hilary Clinton. She is an evil person and has done a lot of things that she should not have done. Cannot help how I feel about her. God help our country.

I watched the Irish shows also. They are always good. I like the guy with the Connemara jewelry. I cannot think of his name right now. He is so funny and usually will come out with his leprechaun hat. I did not see it this time around. I am still cleaning house. I have moved more furniture then I have for awhile. Ron usually will come in and help but he was loading the truck to go to the sale barn. He will sell more of his lawn mowers.He goes with his bil and they have a good time going. Sometimes he brings back more junk then he took. So he has the trailer hooked up to the truck and is ready to go.
I have heard that Roosters can be mean. They say that chickens can be also. The guineas can be also but our are scared of their own shadows.They make a lot of noise but do not do anymore then that. That would be a good sign to put up in the yard. People would probably laugh and just come on the propriety any way. One thing they can do is run very fast. It is funny to watch them. If one of the dogs go after them they are gone in a flash except at night. They are really docile then. They are a strange bird.
I am so glad that you heard from Barbara. I was thinking about her stroke also. Then I thought about Jerry and all of his problems. It is scary when we do not hear from one of the group for a long time. We need to work something out that if something happens to one of us that one of our family will let the others know. We should really do that so we do not worry about each other. it is just an idea. What do all of you think.
I love to watch Irish dancers. We saw River Dance and it was really good. We had a vcr tape of them. That Flatly guy was in it and he is such a good dancer. The rest of the group were good also. They are very active dancers when they start. It is amazing how they all stay in step with each other. I am like you there is no way that I could keep up with them or even move like them. They would have to take me out in a wheel chair or a stretcher.lol
That is funny. He needs a warning system to warn the fish that the golf ball is headed their way. The poor things would have a hard time finding shelter from the golf balls. Ron was laughing at me because I did not think that fish would grow during the winter. I just thought there would not be enough food for them that time of year. So I have my dunce cap on now and a shamed look on my face.
I am glad that the tree did not do any damage to the house when it fell. I bet that was scary when it fell. Those winds were really strong. I am glad that you two were not hurt. This weather is so weird.
I hope that everyone in your family is doing well. Piper is such a little character. Sounds like she is a lot of fun though,. She is more out going then Kendall. How is Kendall doing now? She had a rough year this year.
