Hi Dianne,
I am glad that you are feeling better. That medicine is fast acting. That is really good because you needed something to help you. Just take care of yourself and rest when you can.
Where are you going to the Base ball game? Which team do you root for? We are for the Cardinals they usually are a pretty good team. They had a rough year last year though. Hope they do better this year. They have won the world series a few times so that is good.
It is raining her also. Not like it is there where you are. Those high winds are really scary.How long is this system supposed to be in your area? It is good that there is snow in the mountains. That will help you in the months when you do not get any rain. Ordering food from QVC must be a help. You do not have to go to the store if you have food coming from them. You can keep your freezer stocked. We try to do that so we do not have to worry if money is tight or if we do not want to go to the sotre.
We are having all of our kids here for Easter. We usually have all the holiday at our house. Since the oldest had another baby she does not feel like doing all the cooking and I can understand that. It is hard to do that with a baby. She use to do every other Christmas but now she has quit. She also has to go to the babies other grandmothers for some of the holidays. That is not going over too well with me. I am use to them all coming here for the holidays.
Your dinner sounds good that you are going to fix for Easter. It would be nice if the church has a dinner so you will not be alone for Easter. If you lived closer you could join us for dinner. We always have room for one more.

Ethan is mostly interested in reading right now. he does like to go to museums and he likes to learn new things. He is always learning. He is not much into sports though and that bothers his dad. He wants him to play any type of sport but he just does not like it. So he will have to do the things that are more intellectual and his dad will have to get use to it. He also has made it clear that he does not want to join the army so that is not going to happen. Their daughter is more likely to want to play sports and do things like that.
Even though you were busy at least you got out of the house for awhile. Seems like Gary did just fine on his own for a few hours. Glad that you like your new glasses. Hope that they are better then the old ones.
You have been busy. I am glad that the funeral is over and everything can go back to normal for your friend. It will be hard on her for awhile but she will have to adjust. There is not much else a person can do. I do not like the thought of losing someone in my family. I hope that they all stick around until I am gone.
Well not a lot going on. I wrote most everything on Gail’s post. So it is all there if you want to read it. Have a good week-end and take care of yourself and Gary. I know that you are taking care of him but not sure if you are taking care of yourself. Do not let yourself get run down.

Christine does not have a air fryer. She decided not to get one. She does not fry food. But if it only takes a tablespoon of oil that would not hurt anyone. It sounds like it would be a nice thing to have. They are really interesting. We made potato chips today and they turned out pretty good. We fried them in a pan of grease. After we did that Ron went fry crazy. He fried some hop peppers, onions and pickles. It was interesting to see what all he was trying in that pan of oil. We will have to throw it out since he fried all that other stuff in that grease. He is a mess sometimes.
It is nice that Ethan is a reader. Lachlan is a lot like Ethan. He always questioned everything. He had an interest in everything and wanted to know how it could be. He was funny when he was younger. He could think of all kinds of things that he wanted answers to.It is good when they ask that many questions. Owen will read but not like Ethan does. He likes the simple quick things to read. He would not attempt to read a book that has a lot of chapters to it. He may develop an interest later. I really hope that he does. His mom is a reader. It will be interesting to see how the kids all turn out. Hope that I am here to see them all graduate from high school. Won’t that be cool. The Diary of a Wimpy kid is a good book. It seems like a lot of the younger kids like to read them. It is good that Kendall is reading also. Piper may be a reader since her sister and brother seem to have an interest in reading.
I have one female doctor. She is my gynecologist. She is really good. I do not like to go to a man for that anymore. They are hard to talk to and explain what is going on. They do not have to go thru it and they do not understand. At least a female doctor knows what you are talking about.
I am ready to go thru that procedure again for my stomach. I do not want to have a problem anymore. I do not like it and am tired of it. This doctor would be a good one or at least she will be better then the doc that I had. That doctor is not worth a dime.
It will take us forever to get use to the time change. I do better with the falling back then I do with the springing forward. I do like my sleep.lol it is really nice to sleep when it is a rainy day like it is today. It has rained here all day long. It is supposed to be like this again tomorrow. Then it is supposed to stop. They said earlier in the week that it would rain on Monday but they have changed now. Are you still having a lot of sunshine? I cannot believe that bird is still running into your window. That poor bird has to have some brain damage by now. I hope that they rubber snakes will help to get rid of him.

I hope that you are feeling better. Do they have a pharmacy that delivers? You need to find one so you do not have to go out when you are sick. I hope that it was not raining when you were out. Allergies can really be bad. Just take care of yourself.
Your jeans sound really cute. Let me know what you think of them when you get them home. I have never bought anything in that color. I did buy a pair in wine and it was really pretty but am very careful what I wear with it. I am not good with matching colors. Your top sounds cute also. I like denim and co. They have some really cute things and at a good price. We all need something new once in a while.
Hope that the storms are not too bad there and you do not lose your electric. Just take care of yourself and get well soon.

It will be hard for you to find some food to fix for Greg. It sounds like he likes everything. Ron is easy he has more things that he does not like. So I can do that to him. Maybe you would have to stop dong his laundry. That was a good one. Ron did get upset about that one. He was a little nicer. He wanted some clean drawers.
Kids do have a good memory. I think that is funny that Lachlan asked what you did with your invisible friend. That would be a hard one to answer. I guess for a child that never had one. He is so funny. Ethan does have a good sense of humor sometimes. He is serious more then the other kids are. They get mad at him because he takes some things too serious. So we just have to tell them to ignore him and move on. He is just too smart for all of us. We just do not let him know if we can help it. I cannot believe some of the things that he knows about. He has read books about the holocaust and things like that. He was reading a series of books by a woman that always titled her books when I live thru and it was always some disaster. He told us that she could not have lived thru all of that. Some of it was things that happened during different time periods that she could not have lived thru. He caught that right away. I think I told you about that once before.
We finally had a day without rain. We did see the sun but it will all change tomorrow. Then we have more rain. It has not been as bad as it was. The flooding was not as bad and some of the areas that they said that was going to flood did not. We will see what happens this time. The flash floods are not as bad they go down fast but still can do some damage. I do not know why they build business on those sites where that happens.
Christine was talking about that the other day. I think that she said that you have to put a little oil in them. I am not sure. If it did not use any oil at all that would be nice. Will have to watch and see what they say also. We can never have enough gadgets in the house. So it will be nice to have one more. lol I am still waiting for Ron to buy the mixer for me. That probably never will happen. They had one on QVC the other day and I missed it. It was a good price and missed the whole thing. Maybe next time.
I finally found a new doctor. I go to see her on the 21st. I have been sick again all day to day. I hope this one is better then the other.

I am sorry to hear about your friends fiancee. That is going to be hard for her and her family. I will remember them in my prayers. How long had they been together? Sometimes it is better if you are not married to have your own space. That is my feelings and not many people agree with me.
Poor Tillie that must have been driving batty. That would have been a long week-end. Getting up all night to make sure that it did not run in the floor. It was probably good for her when you got it fixed she could finally get some sleep.
That is good that the nurse got the leaking to stop. Poor Gary this is really a hard thing to go thru. It has got to be hard with his legs swelling like that and he cannot do anything about it. Just have to hope that the six weeks go by fast. It will also make a lot of work for you and worry. Just remember to take care of yourself and your back. You have to take care of it or you will really hurt yourself. Then you will not be good for him or yourself. Just hope that all the help keeps coming until the time is over and he has the cast off.
Ethan does have a high I Q. He goes to the gifted program and does really well in there. They have a separate school that he goes to one or two days a week. They teach him all kinds of things there. He can set up his own web page and he is a wiz at math. You have to be careful when you talk to him. He can catch any mistake that we make. He is nicer to us we are old and do not know any better. He does give my daughter a run for her money. She really has to keep up with him. He loves to read. He was reading Harry Potter books a long time ago and read everyone of them. They were some big books. He can read and stays interested in them as long as he can read. He will come here and bring a book and he and I can sit and read for awhile and he is happy with that. He is a lot like my dad was. He was really smart and he did not have patience with people that he thought made dumb statements. So you know how we all bugged him when we were teenagers. There was five of us kids and he had to go thru that with all five of us.lol
It is gloomy here also. We had rain here all day today. Now it is clearing up and we are not supposed to have any rain tomorrow. It will be back Saturday and Sunday though. This weather is crazy.

Your weather is strange. We are getting rain and that is all we are getting. It is going to rain here all week and week-end. We will be really sick of rain by then. Now we will be sick of it by then and this summer we will be begging for rain. That is weird how that works.
I can imagine how big that cast is. That is hard on a person that wants to move around a bit. He cannot put his feet up at all. That is terrible that his legs are swelling so bad. It seems like they could find away for them to put his feet up.That will not be very comfortable after awhile. It is nice that the nurse came today to take care of his leg.
The patriotic clothes are really cute. I wear them sometimes but not all the time. Did you see the shirt that they had that had an anchor on the neckline? I think that it had stripped piece on there and then the anchor. I wish I had the number so I could give it to you and then you would know what I was talking about. I thought of you when I saw it. When I see things like that I think of you and Gail when I see butterfly things. I did finally find the capris in navy. They had them on yesterday so ordered them before they sold out. They did not have very many sizes left. So was glad that I went ahead and got them. They are the dream jeanne material.
We will probably have to have the egg hunt inside also. Wish we could have it outside but if the weather is bad we will not be able to. I cannot wait until we see the sun again. It did try to come out once today but then changed it mind.
That is nice that you have a plummer that will come on that short a notice. He is worth a little more money. Well at least you problem is fixed and Tillie will not have to worry about it. If she is like my mom it would drive her crazy until it was fixed.

All we are getting is rain. They have been wrong for so long but this time around they were right.It is going to rain here all week and week-end. I am glad that someone is enjoying the sunshine. I do not remember what the sun looks like.lol
Lachlan will be a fun kid in school. If he likes to question the rules. The kids will love him. They will also join in and the teacher will be climbing the walls. Ethan thinks that he is smarter then the teacher and roles his eyes at her when he feels that way. They get mad at him and call his mom. I thought he cannot help it he thinks that his teacher is not smart. He told me that she says things that do not make sense. Piper will be a fun one to watch in school. She will be entertaining. All the kids will be laughing and talking to her all the time. Those two kids are going to be fun in school and Jenny will hear a lot from their teachers.lol
You would have to put a lot of hot sauce in his potato soup and then he will not do it again. If he does not like hot sauce. Ron would love it that way he loves hot sauce. He may think it makes the soup taste better. That would be just my luck. I always give Ron hints that he can give me a qvc gift card and that would work really nice. Never happens though.
I am stuck after the ham. Mom is not supposed to eat salad because of the medicine she is on. So that takes a lot away from the meal. I guess that I will make a potato casserole and rolls and that is all I have right now. I hope that my brain is working better by then and I have a meal thought of.

When I tried the top on it was a lot better then I thought. It is really cute. I may just wear it with my indigo jeans. It will look just as good with them I guess as navy. I should have gotten it first and I would not have been thinking that it would be as soft as the blue iris one that I received.lol
Sounds like they have made a final decision on the bread. It all sounds good to me. The one with the little bunnies sounded really cute. The Italian sounds good also though. It would be a hard decision. You need to win a best Grandma that bakes everything in the group. Everything that you make sounds so good. I can imagine that the therapist were disappointed also. They did not get a treat either. You are slipping.lol You are busy and I cannot figure how you find the time to do all the baking.
I am glad that your new clothes are so cute. You will look really cute in them. Are you going to wear them for the 4th? I have one shirt that I can only wear for the 4th. It just looks right to wear it then. It is the one with the gazebo on it. I taped the show that was on earlier so will watch it when I get done on here.
We do our Easter egg hunt inside when it is raining outside or if it is too cool. They do not have as much fun but they do enjoy it anyway. It is funny sometime in the middle of the summer we find eggs that the kids did not find, It is a good thing that we do not put chocolate in the eggs.
That sling must be heavy to carry around when he walks. It is nice that the therapist is working with him on the pants thing. They can do a lot of good things for a patient.
