Hi Gail,
Rural King is like a Lowe’s, Menard’s, Farm and Fleet. They carry a little of everything. They also carry clothes. Jeans and cowboy type shirts. It is kind of a neat store. It is really big also. I usually drive one of the cart things when we go in there. There is a lot to see and if we want to stay in there for any amount of time I ride one of those. They also have purses in there. It is just interesting. This is the first one that I have seen so wonder if they are coming here from the southern area. Will have to check and find out.
Melissa did the same thing with Kaylee. We all think that she was ready but mom and dad did not. So she stayed home for another year. So she may have needed it and we just do not realize how much since she lives so far away. We just leave it at that.lol It is funny the similarities with the kids and the way the parents decided to keep them home.
That does make a piece of jewelry special if it is a one of a kind. That is neat the they make them special for a customer. Greg is good about surprising you with jewelry Ron surprises me with vacuum cleaners. Nothing say I love you like a vacuum cleaner.lol
I do not see how her kids can treat her like that. He was an evil man and did not do anything good for them either when they were together. Christine is such a good person and did not deserve to be treated like she was treated. Some men need to be put away in a cage and not let out.
I thought that I better stop at that. I really get upset over things like that.
Are you getting ready for Easter? Do do Easter dinner at your house or does Jenny have it at her house.? We are waiting to hear what you are fixing for dinner so we can get some ideas from you. Adele’s dinner sounds really good. She will make all kinds of fantastic desserts. ( I hope I spelled that right)

That is funny that the plumber almost caught without your bra. You were lucky that you heard him coming up the steps. That could have been interesting. Hope that he got the problem fixed and does not have to come back. You really have a house full there during the week. What did you bake for all of them today? The therapist will keep coming to get the treats.lol How nice that Marissa and Heather are both there. Gary does not have to worry about the business and not having enough help.
That is a long time before he can move the shoulder again. It does make sense though. It is nice that he has the therapist there to help him and remind not to do much. He really does not need to do much and the kids seem to be there for him. You are lucky to have so much help. It is going to make more work for you having to cook extra food for all of them but crock pots are good for that. I love mine and use it all the time.
That is a shame that they do not have a gadget to pull his pants up. I wonder if you put a string on his bottoms and put it around his arm he could do it. It would be hard to figure out where to put the strings where he could reach them. it could be a long string with a clip on the end of it to clip to the bottoms and help him pull them up. Oh well I tried.lol
Your Easter dinner sounds good also. It would be nice to change from the ham once in awhile. You could fix a small ham for the day before Easter and you can enjoy that. You make so many goodies for everyone. I can imagine what your back room looks like. With all the Easter things back there. I imagine that the kids all get excited about coming to your house you always have such good food and nice gifts for them. I am really cheating this year. I am getting ready made baskets from the store for the kids. They hunt the Easter eggs and to go and find all the things to put in a basket is a lot of work. Hope that we can find some good ones this year.
I was a little disappointed in that top I bought. I wanted it so bad and then after I got it it wasn’t what I thought it would be. It is really thin and not as soft as the other top that I bought. I will put it on and see how I feel about it after it is on. I do not like to send things back. If I do not like it I will give it to my mom. See what she thinks of it. I may like it better once it is on. Will see.

Your area sounds like ours. They are always going to put something in and it never happens. We were supposed to get a Target and a Cracker Barrel. So far all we got was a rural kind and a hobby lobby. They are going to build a Menard also which does not make sense. They will sell the same thing as rural king. We also have a Lowes so we are going to be crowded out by those types of stores. It will be interesting to see which on stays around the longest.
Lachlan does not go to school full time yet does he? Probably when he does he will stay in his bed and sleep thru the night. None of my kids every slept with us. I guess they liked their own bed. Ron snores so loud that it would wake the neighbors.lol Danyielle had a room to herself all the time because she was the oldest. She could not stand to share a room with her sisters. It was easier to do it that way to stop the fighting.
I may not order from them. Usually if I order things off the net I need it right away. There is not telling how long you would have to wait. I am glad that I asked about that and if they send the wrong size you are stuck with it. Since Aliza is the last one it would be hard to give the things to someone else. I cannot believe that she is almost two months already. She is growing too fast.
How cool that you found that sign. Welcome to Gigis. I bet that was the first one that you have found. It is not a usual sign that they would print up. Glad that you found it. The kids will be impressed with it. Your butterfly ring sounds really pretty. It was nice that they could do that for you. That Jewelry store sounds like a nice one. Do they do that while you are in town or do they have to mail it to you? I really do not know much about jewelry and how long it takes to do something like that.
Thank you for sending that to Christine. She usually is so sad during holidays like that. She is too nice a person to be treated like they treat her. I do think that one day they will be sorry for the way they treated her. Hope they do not wait until it is too late.

They do celebrate Mothers day in March in England. Christine is from there. She is a really nice person also . She comes on here once in awhile. She usually is really busy and does not come on sometimes. She will be back though.
I hope that Jewel enjoyed her grooming today. That is nice that they come to you instead of you having to go to them. Hope that she did okay with the groomers this time and was not mad at you for having it done. She is like all of our pets. A little spoiled and want to do things their way. No matter what we want. Do they have vans that will come and pick you up if you call them to take you to the store or anywhere else you need to go? We have vans that you can call and they do not charge much to take you places. It is just for seniors and no one else. It is really nice they take you to the doctor and shopping and they will come back and get you when you are done. It is really a good deal. We do not have public buses down here though. We are in the country and they do not run down here.
Spring ahead and we lose an hour of sleep. That is not a good thing.lol Thanks for the reminder. We usually forget about that all the time. If we miss the news then we really forget. They remind you on there. They are so nice to do that.
They have been having a lot of QF shows here lately. They really have some cute things on there too. They are supposed to have some new stuff on the show Tuesday I think that is what Angel said. It will be interesting to see what it is.

Glad to see that you are back. It is hard to remember to check that box at the bottom all the time. It is just something new that we have to get use to again. Not bad though. This site is a lot different then the other one was.
It will be better when Gary can start moving around and sleeping in a bed. Have they said how long he will have to sleep in the chair? I hope it will not be for much longer. When does he go back to the doctor? Maybe he will be able to lay down after that visit and at least the swelling will go down. Does the therapist say anything about the swelling? They should report it to the doctor when they put their progress report on the computer and send it to him. It is nice that you have that many coming in to help Gary. It is hard on you but if you keep feeding them those good snacks they will never stop coming. lol
Will you have the family over for Easter? I am sure that the kids will help you get everything ready and you will not have to worry. Have you got your meal planned yet? I know that we will have ham and some type of salad and potato casserole. After that I have no idea. It will be interesting to see what I make. Hopefully the girls will give me some ideas. I got nothing right now. Maybe I will get some ideas form you girls when you talk about what you are fixing. Does Gary eat ham? I know that Jewish people do not eat pork if they are strict. From the sounds of things Gary is not.
I got that blue iris top the other day and it is so soft. It is the one with the scalloped neck line with the flowers on it. I did order the yellow top with the blue bottom to it with the cherry blossom tree on it. I just need to find some navy capris dream jeannes to go with it. So far no luck. Maybe it will look good with the indigo ones. We will see after I get it. The shirt you bought is really pretty also. I have a couple of patriotic shirts already so did not buy another one. Do not need anymore.

I am sorry to hear that your RA is acting up again. That is not fun to have to go on more medicine. Then you have to worry about having a reaction to the meds and all of that junk. It is not fun to start a new medicine.
It is funny what kids remember about what they do at their grandparents. We put money in the eggs here also just not in all of them. We buy the ones that already filled as it is a lot easier the trying to fill all of them. We have to figure out what we are going to have for the baby. Maybe fix a basket with diapers and an outfit or too. I saw some clogs the other day and thought about getting her a pair of those if I can find them in her size. They were for little ones but not sure if they had them for her age group. I cannot wait to see what she will be wearing for Easter. She will be well dressed I am sure. Do you buy things for the kids on Zulily? I thought that you said once that you did. Are their things nice and worth buying from? I have never bought from them and I am starting to get e-mails from them. They have some really cute baby things.
They did not get the cookie from Steak and Shake. They bought it at the store and we had it when we got back to the house. Just never knew that they did that before. We never by them so it is hard to know all of that.
Young mothers have to have a lot of energy to take care of kids. Especially if they have one like Piper that does not like to sleep. Do the other two sleep like they should are do they stay up late also? It makes it really hard if you have one who likes to stay up late and then the others like to get up early in the morning. That would really mess up your sleeping schedule. They take care of the kids and work also. I do not see how they do it. I did not work until all of my kids were older. So it was not as bad.
That was really good news that Greg found some help. At least he will have help in April. Hope that it does not take a long time to train him. That has to be a big load off your mind and his. At least he is feeling better.
They really have some good food at DQ now. I do not remember them having sandwiches like they do now. Our DQ stays open all year long. THey have since they started serving meals. They also have a play area for the kids at the one. It is nice that the kids get an ice cream with their meal. That would win the kids over every time. Have you tried the new sandwiches they have there? We have not been there since they started selling them. Will have to go and see what they are like.

I am glad that you found your way on here. You will be a welcome member to the group. Your cat is so pretty. She is a lot of company to you and that is nice. Is it still raining or has it stopped now. I guess that you needed the rain.
We get our vegetables from the same place. We have a garden in the summer and go out and pick what we need. I imagine that you really miss that and your flowers. Thank heaven for artificial flowers. I have a brown thumb and am not good at growing anything. My husband is responsible for all of my flowers and veggies in the gardens. He is really good at it and has taken over the task since he retired. I also love roses and do have a few rose bushes in the yard. We also have mums and other flowers that I have no idea what they are. He has to remind me every year. We also have a weeping willow tree that is my favorite. He planted it next to the deck and that may prove to be a mistake we will see.
I think we are all from the generation that drank water from the hose and road in a car without a seat belt and we all survived it. It is funny how things have changed that we survived. Now no one can survive it and we have all these new rules.
I also have Thomas Kinkade pictures hanging on my wall. They are always so pretty and are of places that it would be fun to be. Can you imaging how it would be to live in one of those homes. They all look so elegant. The Victorian furniture and the houses were just so pretty.

You would think that Julie would like jewelry because you do and mine would not like it that much because I don’t. It is strange how things work out. When you start to give your jewelry away Julie may decide to wear some of it. Your granddaughter may like it since Julie does not wear it.
You know at first when they started debating they did talk about some of the issues. But now they are acting like little kids and who wants to watch that. I am like you I want to hear the facts. The democrats are not much better. You do not know if Hillary is really going to do anything she says she will. I have no respect since she turned her back on those soldiers in Benghazi. It scares that she could do that on a bigger scale if she is president. We have never had a president do that, that I can remember. She got a lot of people killed. Some of the comments she made afterwards really made me mad. I better quit or I will never stop.
I never thought about the fact that the never have anything with a duck on it. That is really funny. You would think that they would have a lot of ducks in there line. I wonder if they did some type of survey at one time or another and people did not like the idea. I cannot imagine that a quacker would not like it but maybe at that time they didn’t. That was a good suggestion I hope that they listen to you.We will see.
We had a really good time with Owen today. We gave him money and he was excited about it. Ron also gave him gum and stickers. We put the package of stickers in the card with the money. We hid the money behind the stickers and at first he thought we gave him gum and stickers. It was funny cause he just kind of looked at us and told us thanks for the gum. Then the money fell out of the card and that made him happy. We went to Steak and Shake for dinner. Do they have those in Illinois? I cannot remember if they did or not. He got a burger and fries and a large milk shake. I could not believe that he ate all of that and drank all of the shake. It was a strawberry fudge shake. We could not have eaten all of that and drank the shake also. Aliza is really growing. She weighs 8 pounds now and seems to be getting a little longer. She is really pretty. She would just smile at us every time we would talk to her. She is such a good baby. I have never seen one that is smiling when she first wakes up. When we took her out she feel asleep in the car and stayed asleep until we got back to the house. She even slept while we sang to Owen and cut his cookie. He wanted one of those big cookies with frosting on it. They even put his name on it. I was really surprised that they did that. We just really had a nice time though. We held her the whole time and she really likes to be talked to.
