It is really nice that Bobby is around to help with getting things in and out of the oven for you. Sure does make it easier on you. That is really a good thing. You need all the help that you can get so you do not hurt you back again. I do not see how you do all that cooking and things with your back the way it is. Just be careful this holiday and do not hurt you back again.
You are such a good person. I cannot believe that you are going to make bread on a night that they are delivering dinner. They should bring bread with the meal. You do a lot for you family. The bread sounds really good. You are going to bake that and then do all that baking and cooking for Christmas. You are a better woman then I am.
I was surprised to hear that temptation dishes break in the oven. It is nice that Sue shared that information. Now we all know to be careful when we use it. I would have never have thought that it would do that. I wonder if it is when you take it out of the freezer or the fridge. If you put it right in the oven from either one of those places I could see them breaking. So just have to be careful with those dishes.
I have not done much today have not been feeling well. SO that will mean more work to do next week. I just hope that I get all this stuff done before Christmas day. if you do not hear from me much next week it is because I am busy doing things. I will try and check in everyday and just say hi ans see how every one is doing. So have a great week-end. Will talk to you later.

Hi Gail,
I hope that Piper and Jenny get well soon. They need to be well for Christmas. That is so hard when they are sick on a holiday. It would be nice to have snow on the kids week off from school. They need sometime to just have fun and not worry about school work. We are not supposed to call it Christmas vacation anymore it is winter break. They can say what they want it is Christmas break.
Those dumplings are Mrs Bs and they have them at wal-mart here. They are pretty reasonable and they do save a lot of time. I have not made the drop dumplings since we first got married. They turned out so bad that I never made them again. So have stuck to the roll out ones or the frozen ones.
I love it when they had concerts with the little kids. They are so much fun to watch. Like you said some are really enthusiastic and some are shy. There is no telling what will happen. They boy with the penguin tie and suspenders sounds really cute. They really dress those kids up for the concerts. We have so much fun watching and listening to the kids talk about it after it is over. They are still excited when they talk about the whole thing. That is funny that the waitress was looking for Jenny and the kids when you went into the restaurant. People get use to seeing all of you together.
We have not had any snow yet. We are not supposed to have any snow on Christmas so we are ready for that. The only thing that we are not ready for is the sixty degree weather we are supposed to have on Christmas day. That is too warm for Christmas. It could be cold at least.lol
Well it is the same with me. I may not be on here as much next week. Have a lot to do and not a lot of time to get it done. Will talk to you when I can.

Hi Adele,
I do not have one package wrapped yet. I need to get all of that done. So you are a lot further along then I am. I need to get those bags. They look really nice on the show but have never ordered them. I am glad to hear someones opinion of them. Hopefully they will have them again next year and then we can order some.
I am glad to hear that your back is better. Do not over do it though or it will be hurting again. Just be sure and rest in between doing things. That is what my back doctor tells me all the time. Well you already know not to try and clean the whole house in one day. I tried that once and got my back really hurting. Sometimes I do not think before I do something. I do the same thing when I exercise. I try to keep going thinking that the pain will work out if I keep going. Well that is wrong also. It just hurts the injured area. It is not easy getting old.
Sounds like you bought a nice gift for you for Christmas. Ron has really shocked me this year. He has two gifts for me under the tree. I know what the one is it is a purse. He had me pick it out. So that was alright so it will be a surprise when I open the other box. I hope that it is not something refurbished that will cause problems.lol
That is surprising that Bobby does not want you to do that to the meat. He is the one that likes to cook and is kind of like a chef. Maybe he should cook it this year and you can see what he wants to do with it. That could be interesting. Does he ever cook Christmas dinner or do you always do it? Your meal sounds good. We do not usually have ham on Christmas but this year the girls wanted it so that is what we are going to have.
That set of Temptations sounds really nice. I like the oval baking dishes. Temptations dishes are easy to clean and they go in the dish washer. That really makes them nice. I have one small set of them and the food does not stick in the dishes like they do some of the other baking dishes that I have had. I hope that you get a lot of use out of them.
It is cold here. It has been all week. Next week it is supposed to be up in the upper 50′ and 60’s. It is going to be 60 on Christmas day. I hope that they are wrong. They house will be too warm with all the cooking. It is surprising that you do not have any snow yet this year. They say that it will be colder in January thru March. I hope that we do get some cold weather. We need something to get rid of all the lady bugs.

That is funny about Neal. You will be afraid to ask them to go out to dinner ever again. He was really worried. The poor guy. You never know what kids are going to think Even at their age they can get some weird ideas. I am glad that you finally convinced him that you just wanted to go to dinner with them and his brother. I hope that Joey did not have the same reaction. You are going to have to go out to dinner more often.
I am giving gift cards this year. I do not give them as much when they just want money because it is hard to how much to give each one. So they all get the same amount. So it is six people that get a gift card and they have to be the same. So no one gets their feelings hurt. Next year they are going to all have to think of a gift that they want because i am not doing gift cards again. The tree looks bare. There is nothing under there for them. Just little gift bags with cards in them. Only two of the grand kids told me that they wanted a certain thing for Christmas so they got presents. It is much nicer.
St. Jude is a really good hospital. They really do a lot of the kids and their families. It is nice that they never turn a child away. They take them all in no matter the ability of the parents to pay. We use to collect for them when we were kids. It would be hard to work nights. I never did like that either. You never get enough rest. That is a very good job and hard to dowith all the sick children there. I hope that she can work there for a long time.
Christine is having a lot of trouble with her heel. She has been going to the doctor about it for 8 months. They are supposed to start to give her shots in her heel but she does not know when. She loves that new puppy that she has. He is really a cute dog. There was a picture of him on here the other day but do not know what happened to it.

Hi Gail,
One good thing now with Ron the freezer is his main concern. He does not worry about the fridge. I think that I am going to have to find a job to get out of the house for awhile. That way he can open the freezer door all he wants and I will not be here. He is trying to get me to do it also. I will get right on that.lol Can you imagine how much more that freezer will be running if we keep opening and shutting the door. Men what can you do with them.
It is interesting the different ways that people like their turkey. I guess there are a lot of different dressings also. I just have never heard of anyone stuffing their turkey with meat loaf. I wonder what it taste like. That sure would be different. Do they do something special to the meatloaf before they put it in the turkey? Seems like that would be hard to get the meat inside the turkey to cook all the way thru.
It was strange for me to eat squirrel. I had called my mom and asked her if she knew how to fix wild animals like that and she told me no and she did not want to know. I knew then that they would never eat anything like that if they came to my house. His family thought it was strange that I did not know how to cook anything like that. So it was different. His mom did teach me how to make chicken and dumplings so that was good. We have had them a lot. Now you can buy the ready made dumplings at the store and that is even easier. Every once in awhile Ron will want the homemade ones and we will do that. Have to humor him sometimes.
I am glad that you had a good doctor visit. It is nice when you can go to the doctor and laugh and joke around. That makes you feel a lot more at ease when you are in there. That is what I liked about my old doctor. I knew about his family and he knew about mine and we could talk about family. That always breaks the ice. So that is partly why I liked him and did not want to start with a new doctor. Most of my family went to my old doctor. Melissa was still at home when we were going to him so he saw her and Mandy and her husband went to see him also. So he took care if all of us at one time. Danyielle was the only one that did not go to him.
I know that when I came on here there was Sue and Diane that was Mardigrass Lady.I am not sure when Debbie started or Nancy. I think that Nancy started way before Debra. I am not sure though. I do know that most of the woman that were on here when I first came on here left and have never come back. I do not remember Charlene.I am not good with names though.I think this group that is here now has stayed on longer then any other group. I think that most of them went to face book.

It could be.I will have to ask him again. Will wait until I am off here or he will make an hour conversation out of it. He has really turned into a chatty Kathy here lately. Do not know why. He always wait until I am on here or I am watching something on tv. So then I have to pause everything and go back and see what I missed. He is funny in his old age. He needs a job. Oh he has a new thing now. He thinks that the freezer runs too much. So when I hear it running I should go over and open it and then shut the door. I thought okay what ever. I have not idea what good that is doing and I never do that but as long as he thinks I do I guess he will be happy. He does it enough for both of us. At least he is not feeling the side all the time. Now people think he is just looking for something in the freezer.
It is hard to get in and out of those SUVs and trucks that are high up off the ground. You are shorter then I am so I can imagine the trouble you have getting in and out. I can slide out of the truck but have to be careful or will slide too far. Sounds like it is a good idea to let him drive your car and not go in his. It is a lot easier on you that way.
Did you and Greg eat about the same things when you were kids or did he have to adjust to your way of cooking? The one thing that was hard for me was frying squirrel and rabbit. There are a lot of things that you have to know like to take the shot out of the animal before you cook it. It will not explode but it does hurt a persons teeth if they bite into it. My bil found that out. When ever I fixed fried wild meat he always examines it before taking a bite. I did not know you never get any of that in meat you buy at the store.
I miss Debbie she is really funny. We had such a good time with her on here. Maybe she will find a way to be on here with us without any pain.
I hope that things go well for you at the rheumatologist today. It seems like we spend most of our time at the doctors now. Did not seem like that was the case when we all first starting chatting. I cannot even remember how long it has been. Have seen a lot of people go thru this site. Guess a lot of them went to face book.

If we make it up there this year I will let you know and we can figure out a place to meet. I really hope that we do it this year. He backs out a lot of the time and it is aggravating. This time I am going to make him stick to it. We need to see more of the country while we still can. I think that the bad lands are in North Dakota. I am not sure. Ron wants to go see some statue. So that is why we are thinking of going. It will be fun.
They do not even help you out if you do a lot of work in the church. They are not thinking when they do that. That is probably they lose so many people that use to help. I really wish that they would change some things. Guess that they will never will.
That would be interesting if we took the guineas to the pet sitter. I cannot imagine how we would transport those things. They are getting big now and are almost as big as wild turkeys. I cannot even imagine what type of place would take them to take care of them. I would not want to be that person.
They always say that a boy is not as good about doing things like that. I only had girls and do not know how it is with boys. Sometimes I hear from my girls too much. I have too much information and do not want to know all of it. lol
We have to go to St. Louis tomorrow. I do not want to make the trip. We have to take his truck in so they can take a picture of it for the insurance. I would not mind going in it but it is high up and I have trouble getting in and out of it. I can just see me in the parking lot of the insurance office and falling on my backside trying to get out or into the truck. I hope that they do not take a picture of that. Wouldn’t that be pretty.
Have you heard anything from Debbie? She has been gone for awhile again. Hope she will feel like coming on again soon. well that is about all from here have a good night.
