Hi Ladies.
Another HOT day here, so I’m not doing any house work. The A/C can’t keep up with these hot temps. I have it blowing on me while I sit here on the sofa.
We’re not used to these hot temps here. It’s even been hot on the coast which is highly unusual for them too. It’s supposed to start cooling off later tonight.
Our natural A/C will be coming in from the Pacific later on. Can’t wait for it to get here.
Gail, there is a Temp-tations web site, Temp-tations by Tara. and yes you can buy individual pieces on there. They’re always updating new pieces, etc.

I’m glad all of you ignore unwanted phone calls. You’d be surprised at how many elderly get swindled out of their life savings by these thugs!!! they call saying their grandkids are in jail or need $$ for some reason or other, then they find out they were swindled out of their $. it’s in the news all the time around here.
The Olympics wrap up today. I’ll be going thru with drawl for a few days. Nothing on tv!!!

I would, but I don’t know how to contact QF, & frankly I wouldn’t know what to say. I’m not really sure these calls have anything to do with QF. And as for the police, no crime has been committed. I haven’t been defrauded out of any $$. I didn’t send these yo-yos any $, I haven’t even talked to anyone. Just be alert for strange phone #s on your cell phone caller ID. If it doesn’t look familiar, don’t answer. If they’re ligit they’ll leave a voice mail stating who they
are & what their business is for calling.
I’m not a computer geek, but I do know how to Google. LOL. I type in ‘reverse phone number’ & it goes to a list of sites. I click on reverse phone number/white pages. Type in the phone # in the bar & it comes up where the call originates from. And next to that, is a google map. Click that & a pic of the place where the call originated. Sometimes it is a business, sometimes it isn’t. But like I said if they’re on the up & up, they’ll leave a message.

I would love to get a set of Temptations fall muffin/cup cake pans. What I’d REALLY like is to have one of each. I wish they’d come out with a set of
one of each pattern for fall. This way I’d have to buy both sets & give away 2 of em. Never satisfied.

Sitting here watching the ladies diving competition on the games. Well, the heat is on here. Unusual for this late in the month for it to get this hot. It
usually hits the last of July or first part of Aug. Hopefully its the last time too. I could use that pool the ladies are diving into!!! If only…

I have a question for you ladies. Do you get phone calls from places, & phone #s you don’t recognize? In the past couple days I’ve gotten calls from the
East coast, Delaware, & today Florida. I don’t know anyone in either state. And when I Google them they come up as spam & fraud. When I click on the map it shows private homes. The one yesterday was a home (nice one at that) that had a for sale sign in front of it. Nice neighborhood. Then today was
a nice home in Jacksonville, Fl. Maybe wrong # but I find it strange it’s 2 days in a row from the East coast.
Including some pics of fall. Never fear, it’s on the way. (I hope). :))))

OK, fess up girls, how many of you bought out QF today?? LOL. I’d seen a lot of the tops before & most of em were out of my size. Not that I could afford any anyway.
Thanks Adele, for explaining what HG is. I do think we have TJ Maxx around here, somewhere. I saw your pic of the bowl & mug. they look cute.
I’m sooooooooooo jealous of you having the Temp-tations fall patterns. I LOVE the embossed pattern better than the painted on patterns. I do have the napkin holder/salt& pepper shaker set in fall fetti. And I love the new FL Pumpkin pattern.

Colleen, I’ve heard drinking cranberry juice is good for UTIs. Drinking more water should help. Any fluids should flush out the kidneys/bladder. I’m going on my past experiences with the elderly who would get them.
I thought Shawn looked pregnant this week also. I know little Amy is.

I think we’re all ready for fall to show up, & cool everybody off. I see some of the trees around here are starting to turn already. Could be cause we need rain, but I’ve seen this happen in yrs before. the nights start cooling off earlier.
We’re heating up for a few days, starting tomorrow. Hottest temps of the yr. I’ve already cooked up some chicken, made a potato salad, jello, so I won’t have to cook.
I have an idea, when I don’t have much to talk about, I’ll send pics so you know I’m okay. OK.

I see there’s a QF 2hr show later tonight, & another 2hr show tomorrow. Tonight’s show starts @ 1 AM ET, & tomorrow’s show starts at 3 PM ET.

CONGRATS Barbara!!!! I’m sure you’re all on cloud 99 with your new grandson!!!
Not much going on out here, yet. Right now we’re just comfortable. In a couple days not so much!! We’re in for the hottest temps so far this summer.
Hopefully not for long. I wish I could send you guys our weather. The temps we’re having right now is perrrrrrrrrrfect!! I really feel for you!!!
I cooked up some fried chicken & made some potato salad for the hot days. NO cooking when it gets that hot!!
Still enjoying the games. I’ll go into with drawl when they’re over!! lol

Hi Ladies,
Just a quick note to let ya know I’m alive & well. I’ve been engrossed with the Summer Olympics. I’m abit of a sports nut. Not crazy tho. I enjoy the
summer games more than the winter games. I’m not into skiing. I watch the ice dancing/skating & that’s about it. I think it has more to do with seeing those young dudes in their swimming trunks, & six packs. LOL.
Looks like we’ve joined the rest of the country in the heat. We’re having a heatwave of our own. For awhile there we thought maybe summer was a distant memory, but she came back with a vengeance!! We were in the 90s Friday & Sat., but it was a few degrees cooler today. By mid week, into next weekend we could be in the upper 90s, maybe triple digits. UGH!!!! Hopefully it won’t last long. I really feel for you guys out there. I hope your all okay.

The local medical school came here for eye exams on Sat. I got mine done. I don’t have glaucoma, cataracts, or diabetes. Whew.
I haven’t read all the posts, so if I’m leaving anything out forgive me.
I love, love, love the new Temp-tations new patterns. They’re not that new, just embossed. Maybe one of these days I’ll be able to get something small.
I don’t need any more bake ware. The FL pumpkin is gorgeous!!!

Congrats on your new grandbaby!!! I hope everything went well for her.

Hi Colleen,
I just googled segways. I thought they had a handle to hang onto, but they’re more like a unicycle, but with 2 wheels. The ones I remember, you’d stand on it & steer it with the handles. There was more control of it. The one I saw on Google was a mini segway. it’s up to you of course. Sorry if I mislead you.
