Hi Ladies,
HAPPY SPRING!!! Hopefully the snow will take a hike back to where it belongs!!! I’m sure the rain won’t leave here for some time yet. Ugh!! It was a lovely day here today, but the liquid sunshine returns Monday, of course!!
Did you catch the QF show tonight? I have the convertible capris they showed. I have the watermelon. They haven’t shown them in quite awhile.
I worked on my Easter décor this weekend. I plastered my windows with my window clings. I’m still not done. Have a few more things to put out. I go nuts at Christmas & Easter.
Nothing on TV tonight. Borrrrring!!

Hi Ladies,
I wrote a post the other night only to have it disappear into cyberspace, grrrrrrrrr!! It was another soggy day here. It was a beautiful day with this bright shiny orb in the sky. Unfortunately it was only for one day.
We’ve had a yrs worth of rain in 5 months. we had the wettest Feb. on record & now it looks like March isn’t too far behind!!! This has been the coldest, wettest, snowiest winter in 4 decades. The last time was in the late 70s. The only good thing is we’re warming up, Finally!!!! Now we need to dry out!!

I’ve gotten all my clothes this week. I wasn’t sure about the numerical sizing but I did good by guessing. Love all the capris, tops, etc. Now all I need is for the weather to co operate!!! lol

That was cute about the baby looking all around for grandma. I hope you’ll get to see him on skype. It shouldn’t be that hard to do. I’ve never done it myself. I have a kitty, Jewell.. if you go to my QF social page she’s my profile picture.
I’m fine. I’m alive. I got a call from the Drs office earlier this week & have a date for Tues. afternoon to go over the results. The hardest part of the testing was all the time wasted waiting, & the equipment malfunctions.

I doubt you ladies are into college basketball, but our Oregon Ducks (quack, quack), won their game today. Maybe the hubbies are watching the March Madness on tv this weekend.
Well, I guess that’s all for now.

Hi Gail,
Just got your post. You’re right about the treadmill. Normally that is the method, but yrs ago I tried it but it was too hard for me so they just went with the injection test instead. I hope that clears up your confusion.
I wasn’t on here when you were able to do all those things. Is too bad they shut it down for that. I’m glad you got a good laugh out of the picture. I hope the other ladies know to click on the pics to enlarge em.
I’m hearing all kinds of awful things about the storm. I called our storm a lion but this makes our storm look like a kitten!! WOW!!! I hope it moves thru quickly & doesn’t linger for days on end. We’re now up into the 50s with rain most of the week. We did hit 60 Friday & Sunday with mostly sunny skies.

Hi Ladies,
Well, we’re warming up. We actually hit 60 on Friday!! It’s partly sunny today after a day of rain Sat. It’s warmer rain now, lol. I can say I’m pretty sure we won’t have anymore snow down here for the foreseeable future!! Yeahhhhhhh!! There will be snow up on the mts till late spring, probably. The skiers will love that.
I haven’t read all your posts yet, but I wanted to let ya know I’m still alive (barely)..
I had my cardiac tests on Friday & I’m still recovering. I had to be at the lab by 7:30. My friend Diane, came & picked me up & bless her heart stayed there in the waiting room for me. They didn’t get done till afternoon!!! I had the cardiac nuclear stress test, echo cardiogram, & cardiac imaging scan. When they hooked me up to the EKG it wouldn’t work. I told the girl I must be a corpse since ya can’t get a heartbeat from a corpse. She tried everything she could think of to get it to work. She called a co worker & they finally figured out something was disconnected on the back of the machine!! When they injected me I thought my chest was going to explode!! They warned me of what to expect. What took so long was the waiting between each test & the injections. That & the EKG not working. I won’t know the results till I see my cardiologist next month. Unless there’s something really wrong. In that case they’ll call me to come in.
I hope everyone remembered to spring ahead last night. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

I should be getting my new clothes this week. The UPS guy & I will be on first name basis by the end of the week, lol

Hi Ladies,
We have another soggy day out here!! March may have come in like a lamb last week, but the lion showed up this week with a vengeance!! At least the snow didn’t stick around. It was gone by yesterday afternoon, except in the mts. the skiers, snowboarders are very happy!! the rest of us are DONE with the rain. I hope all of you are safe. Been hearing about awful storms out there. Stay safe.

This time next week the UPS guy will be delivering all my new clothes. Can’t wait to get em. Don’t ya get tired of wearing the same ole stuff all the time?

I should be washing my dishes or putting up the rest of my spring/Easter décor but I just can’t muster up the energy to do it.
Well, I’m gonna lay down for a short nap. Maybe that will energize me.

Hi Ladies,
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh girls I’m in soooooooooo much trouble!!! I got my summer wardrobe this morning. With 5 easy pays I couldn’t resist!! I got QF & Denim & co tops & bottoms. I’m so naughty!!
I see on our news updates we did get snow overnight in some areas of town. I didn’t see it tho.

I wish I had those beautiful birds outside my window. All we have out here are crows. I see others in other parts of town, robins sometimes. Like I told ya we don’t have Cardinals or those beautiful blue birds. I wish we did!!

Hey again ladies,

Adele, I would imagine the pot stickers come with cooking/heating instructions. It just depends on if you want em crispy or not. I’ve never had pot stickers but they look good. I’d love to get some but if I didn’t like em, I’d be out a lot of $$!!
It seems like winter doe not want to let go!!! By this time of yr, we’re seeing warmer temps, but it’s cold enough to snow here!! In fact in some areas of town did see snow over night. And my weather apps are saying we’ll get snow down to the valley floor!!! Not enough to snarl traffic like Jan., but still snow in March??!!! It’s normal for the mts, ski resorts to get snow but not down here!! Even the weather people can’t believe how cold it is for this time of yr.
Uh oh, I’m in trouble, I just ordered a pair of lipstick red pedal pushers. I asked Angel if they were going to have pants in lipstick red & she didn’t know for sure if or when they were going to have em. So, I’ll be happy with the pedal pushers for now.

Colleen, I’m sorry to hear Ron is sick again. It seems like we can’t shake these things this winter. I’ve been sick a couple times too. and sometimes I feel like it’s hitting me again. So far so good…knock on wood.

Adele can you put a skirt around the house to block out the wind? Or close it up some way? That’d drive me nuts!!

Hi Ladies,
Well, it looks like we’re gonna have to build an ark. We’re getting lots of rain this weekend. And maybe snow in the foothills around town. It’s MARCH &
they’re still talking snow in the lower elevations.!!!! Is it ever going to end??!! Calgon, take me away (to a white sandy beach)!!!

Gail, tell Jenny there are a lot of different strains of the flu & the shot doesn’t cover all of them, don’t ask me why. It seems it should but it doesn’t. If they don’t start getting better pretty soon, they better see their Dr. Esp if the fever doesn’t start to break & they start feeling better. Seems there’s been a lot of sickness in the country this yr. My cough lingered on & on & on, it seemed like I’d never get over it.
Did you catch the QF show? I hope so. It’s spring fashion weekend on the Q.

I hope all of you have a great weekend. I’m gonna start on building an ark. lol
