What a great film clip. I have never seen this one. I was not watching Jeanne back then but I did begin very soon after! I was lucky enoguh to get to know Jeanne from the second Quacker Cruise until she passed away. I really miss her still. That is why I will be there tomorrow for the Fall-o-Ween show. @colleen Thank you!

  • Ha – that is tooooo funny!  I actually rode a camel once when I visited Egypt back in 2003 – that thing was the MOST smelly thing I’ve ever encountered in my life!!!!!!!  But aside from the smell – it was a neat experience!!!  🙂
The weather has been a little cooler – but we’ve had sunshine – and the sun is out this morning – so hopefully it wi…[Read more]

  • I forgot to tell you about the  camel. We tried and tried to get Christine to ride it but she wouldn’t do it. We just think that she is chicken.lol  We have teased her about it. So told her that I was going to put it on here.
Hope the weather in England is good and they will not be coming home to a lot of rain.  It was raining here before they…[Read more]

  • Hi Patrick,
I will tell Christine but it will have to be in the e-mail that I send her tonight. They have already left and are probably leaving from the airport. We really had a great time while they were here and it was our pleasure to look after them. Christine can really make a person smile and laugh. One thing that we did teach them is how…[Read more]

  • Hi Patrick,
We have been having a great time. Christine goes back to London tomorrow.  That is really sad I do not want her to go but she has to go back home.  The time has just flown by and we did get a lot done in those two weeks. We went to the Arch and Christine and Stewart went up in it but we stayed on the ground.  We went to Kimswick and…[Read more]

The best thing that I have done for myself is to have Christine come from England to visit. She always makes me laugh and makes me happy.  She is part of the family and now I have four daughters instead of three. It is fun when they all get together with us and we have a dinner and we all just chatter. My grand kids are just everything. They can…[Read more]

The best thing I did for me was to retire.  Now I enjoy sewing, being with my grandchildren, and playing with my dogs.

My granddaughter, who is now 13, started making Christmas gifts for family around age 4.  One year she made button ornaments.  I gave her my button box (I’m a sewer) and she enjoyed choosing the specific color button for each person on her list.  She strung them on ribbon, which we then knotted and tied in a bow for hanging on the tree.  This cou…[Read more]

  • If they only made sugar free marshmallows. That would be the cole slaw for me.  It does sound good though. I may try it on the grand kids they may eat every bite.
